Axel x Roxas
I try to breathe but no air comes. I fight the dark with my flame. Breathing is easy now. I got them all. Burned to ash. All the heartless in the black room. There is light. I made it out of my element. The door opens and I fly on tendrils of flames.
I wake up heart racing, blood burning and sweaty. Roxas sighs in his sleep, blond hair pointing in every direction. I reach out and touch his forehead. Cool, per usual.
"Axel..." He whispers,"Was it the nightmare again?"
"Yeah," I breathe in reply. Roxas curls into my side, and I smile.
"I love you, Cinnamon Boy."
"I love you too, Sweetheart. Got it memorized?"
"Always and forever..."
"...Until the end."
Riku x Sora
The door of darkness slamming shut echoes across the hellish land of heartless. I am alone. The voice of Ansem booms in my head calling me to join him. Join the dark. I shake hard and try to fight him. I am engulfed.
My body is shaking bad, and I must have cried out. Sora looks worried. I try to stop, but I can't.
"Riku, it's okay. You're not him. You're you and I'm me," he pulls my head to his chest softly stroking my hair.
The tremors stop gradually, then all at once. "Sora, thank you."
"Psh, it's fine because I love you bonehead." He smiles at me sweetly.
"I'll love you until infinity, passes us by..."
"And that time will remember us both."
Zexion x Demyx
The keyblade wielder slashes me across the chest. My illusions faded. I hear a faint voice calling me home. Home to my beloved. Long gone. I dissolve into darkness. Blood soaking the sand, and the Lexicon burned to cinders.
I wake ridged as a plank. Taunt as a rubber band about to snap. Demyx has wrapped his arms around me. He rubs my clenched muscles until I slump into him.
"Shhh, Zexion. Let me sing for you untill you sleep." He hums first. Our song. Then the words start. His voice soothes me. I hum along.
"Together forever, I love you for life, and more." I sing the last line with him, before I sleep again.
