Gogeta33 and the Cursed Mansion
As our hero, Gogeta33, left the safety and security of the small town of Lumbridge to head to the city of Falador, he came across a dead wood. He had gone from fresh smelling air and green trees to an unidentifiable musk and a seemingly devastated forest. The trees were are freshly dead. Whether they were burned or poisoned, he could not tell. One thing was for sure, and that was that something was not right. He came upon a path that lead deep into the wood, so he decided to investigate.
As he walked, he found a woman standing by a gate. There was a part of the forest that was gated off and seemed to be owned or protected by someone. This particularly piqued his interest. He approached the troubled woman and asked, "What is wrong my lady?" the lady, Veronica, replied, "My love went into these woods and has not returned. He told me to stay out here until he came back, but it's been hours and I'm beginning to worry. Could you please find him and return him to me safely?".
This was a no brained for Gogeta33! He loved to help others, especially those in danger. He quickly accepted the task and plunged into the woods.
As Gogeta33 continued on the path, he was swiped and knocked down by something. Turning to find his attacker, he saw nothing. Dead, swaying trees were all around him, but no goblins, no imps, no demons. "Odd," he thought to himself and turned to continue walking. All of sudden a branch grabbed him and knocked him over again. This time, it really hurt. He turned again and saw the tree take a second swing at him. Narrowly ducking out of the way, he turned and ran down the road and came to a mansion. "Anything has got to be better than evil trees!" he thought to himself as he entered the mansion. I mean, how do you even fight a tree?
As he entered, he could help but see the sign that said, "Adventurers beware: simply because you enter here, does not mean that you will come out again."
Creepy candles were the only source of light in this musty old mansion. Rats roamed freely, cobwebs were a constant item of decor. Gogeta33 killed a rat that crossed his path and as he turned to leave the room, a chair followed him. "hmmm, that's not supposed to happen is it? At least it's not trying to kill me...yet." As he turned again, a second chair began to follow him.
He heard a breeze from the next room over. The door was locked and no keyhole was on the door. As he went to scratch his helmet, he lost his balance and bumped into the candle stick next to the door and it shifted. "Weird, well, I guess no more weird than the hopping chairs." He pulled on it more and the doors sprang open to reveal a bedroom with a trap door and ladder open in the floor. "Here we go," he thought to himself, and descended the ladder.
In the dungeon, he found 8 rooms with 8 levers of varying color and many locked doors. As Gogeta33 thought to himself, "This is gonna be a while :O(", he heard his son wake up from his nap and was teleported back to his living room to set off on another quest, the continued battle against the Ever-Stinky Diaper, ESD for short, leaving this one to be continued.
