I do not own any of the rights to Yu-Gi-Oh!

Time would begin anew.
The past means nothing now. Make your way into the future, forge your path and you will not falter.
I have this dilemma.
I do not know where I am. My hands are mine, yes. This body is mine. What I see is not what I saw before. My feet are planted onto the ground, so I exist, that's for sure.
I am in awe of what is before me; an unknown place filled with people I do not know. I see a bustling city filled with people, young and old. Everything seems very animated.
I am here, in this city which I do not recognize. Shoulders hit my own and I do not budge, still stricken with fear of the unknown.
"Watch where you're going!"
Ignore their voices. Find your way home.
Finding my way home was my first instinct as soon as I came to the realization that I was somewhere far, far away from home. Where would I even begin? Making my way opposite of the bustling crowd, there was a commotion up ahead. I was planning to ignore it; I would let nothing distract me. Yet, a large blue dragon roared as it appeared into the skies. Staring in absolute awe, my knees began to tremble below me. Something in my consciousness was struck, a red flag waving it's way around in my brain. The oh-so beautiful creature, it's piercing roar and deadly gaze was something I felt familiar with. Every logical thought disappeared, I was sent back home for an instant, only in memory.
"I set this card face down and end my turn!" I was ten, maybe twelve at this time. My brother and I didn't have much in common, despite being twins. We didn't look too much alike, the only similarities are our noses and eye color, a dark green. The one thing we could both enjoy together was a simple children's card game, Yu-Gi-Oh.
"Ha! Just setting a monster won't help you, sis. 'Cause I sacrifice my two monsters to bring out the Blue Eyes White Dragon!"
I was down on my luck, I could never hold my own against my brother, but he considered me a very formidable opponent. He discarded his sacrificed monsters and from his hand to the graveyard and he placed the prismatic Blue Eyes card into a face up attack position. "And from my hand, I activate Blue Burst Stream of Destruction!" This card removed my face-down monster from the field, and I knew it was over. I had no set cards that could save me. Sitting at 3000 life-points one second, the next second they're depleted to zero, after he declares a direct attack.
A smiled filled our faces. "You still need to practice more, sis." I nodded, "I know."
"Hm. You also need some better cards, these Gem-Knights are cool, but not powerful enough to keep up a good fight." He was looking at my Gem-Knight Sapphire, which had been discarded to my graveyard after the Blue Burst Stream of Destruction's effect had activated.
I frowned, "I think they're cute!"
He laughed, "Here, have this." He handed me the Blue Eyes he had beaten me with. "This will definitely help."
"But this is yours!" I exclaimed, my brother was kind, no doubt but I could not accept this card without a fight.
"Yes, but it's also yours. Think of it as a part of me you'll always have."
I stared down at the beautiful dragon in the picture, "I'll take good care of it."
My hand went towards my back pocket, and there it was, I felt the plastic card with my fingertips. No way. In my hand, before me, was the Blue Eyes White Dragon. Possibly my only way home. It was a long shot, but I knew in my heart my brother would never fail me.
My heart pounded as I grew closer to the commotion and the mighty beast. I heard voices inside of the crowd that had surrounded the commotion and I pushed my way through to the front ignoring the others. They mattered little to me at this moment. What mattered right now was finding the source of that dragon!
In the center stood a tall man with long legs, wearing a white trench coat, my eyes went from the KC imprint on his collar to his eyes, as true and blue as the dragon I knew he was controlling.
"You should know better than to call me out. You're only embarrassing yourself." The man spoke with a sense of pride that to others, seemed self-centered and arrogant. No doubt it was. His opponent was a young man, who looked absolutely distraught and quickly ran into the crowd surrounding them.
"Let this be a lesson to everyone who challenges the great Seto Kaiba!" The crowd cheered in excited, shouting and chanting Kaiba's name.
Every bone in my body was desperately twitching, telling me to move even if it was against my better judgement.
This was Seto Kaiba, as if my luck couldn't get any worse. No doubt would he taunt me if I approached him with my problems. I had to try something. Anything. MOVE. MOVE!
Over-stimulated and fearful, I began to see black splotches in my vision. My breathing had hitched in my throat and was loud enough for those around me to stop and stare, including Seto Kaiba.
His eyes met mine as I dropped to my knees, wheezing and trying to hold myself up with my arms. SAY SOMETHING, DAMN IT!
He set his hard gaze onto me, oh, how pathetic I must have looked there. My head began to burn with immense pain, on instinct I bowed my head closer to my chest to alleviate the pain. I felt wet tears on my hands now, oh god oh god oh god.
I felt cold hands reach for my bare arms, I couldn't move. The pain was too great for me to bare any longer.
Then everything faded to black.
