The 4th Great Ninja War brings many surprises. Loved ones that you lost, and you thought you never saw, old enemies that are just pleading you to kill them all because of an reanimation justu. This would be the bloodiest and most painful war yet.
In this war, two enemies meet again. Father and Son. Sabaku no Gaara, and the 4th Kazekage. Old enemies faced together, one still stuck in the past and one moving forward to save his best friend from death. Once they fight, it becomes a whole new experience.
As the both face off, the sand moves forward, and the 4th Kazekage thinks the Shukaku has taken over Gaara's body. So, the 4th uses his gold sand to overpower Gaara's natural sand, which work. Then Gaara flies over using a rock, and meets face to face with his dad.
"Gaara, what happened to the Shukaku?" his shocked father asked.
"I am no longer a jinnchuriki, I am a grown man, and I am free from the monster you have made in me," Gaara responded back.
His father was shocked; no one could have survived if the demon was extracted from the body.
"How is this possible?" the 4th Kazekage asked.
"Granny Chiyo, used her justu to bring others to life, but in the process killed herself, she is no longer alive," Gaara replied back.
"I see," the 4th Kazeage sighed. "But I still have to fight, under this justu I'm under commands."
"Hn," Gaara said, "You were never really a father to me, after all the attempt of assassination on me, I think you deserve something more deadly, that you would be wishing you were dead, but I know better know."
"You can't destroy me, I'm you father, your own flesh and blood," the 4th explained to his son.
"I know, but I'm fighting for a reason, I'm fighting for a person who is important to me, and I will not let you get in my way," Gaara told his own father.
"What will you do?" the 4th Kazekage sneered.
"I have at least one thing to say to you before hell occurs," Gaara said.
"What is that?" the 4th Kazekage asked.
"I forgive you," Gaara told him.
Then the two shinobi clashed. The 4th Kazekage speechless on what his youngest son said to him, and Gaara the recent Kazekage of the Sand, fighting his own father. Mixed feelings in this battle, that explains so much, and so less at the same time.
