Bella is down about life. She jumps from her window, hoping it will end her life. Who is that golden eyed boy awaiting at the edge,catching her fall? And why is he so concerned for her well-being? Who is he? Bella takes it upon herself to find out. BxE.

1. Chapter 1

Preface

I sat on the window seat, staring into the moonlight that blanketed the sky. There were stars out tonight, other then that, nothing brightened the sky. The moon was a dark, blood red. In the distance, I heard a dog or coyote howl.

I was two stories up, so it would be a pretty long jump. There were rose bushes directly underneath my window, a plus and a minus. The wind blew silently, ruffling my hair. It has to be tonight. I'm positive no other night will be as dazzling and as inviting as tonight.

I smiled to myself. I got up, opened the window up all the way, and jumped, into an awaiting pair of stone, cold, marble like arms.
