Chapter One
"Where am I? Hello?... Is anybody here? It's so dark here" Whimpered a young orange haired girl. A tear fell from her face. She was scared and felt alone. She
had never felt alone like this before. Then through the darkness, a voice similar to her, but more in a male tone had spoked. "Hello, Alice.". The voice startle her
then turned around and saw a young blond-spiky haired boy step out of shadows. He had a mask on so you couldn't see his eyes through them.
"Who are you? How do you know my name?" Alice asked shyly. "My name is Masquerade. I know your name because I have always been here." replied the
masked boy. Alice was confused "What do you mean? Where even are we?" she asked quietly. Masquerade stared at her then a thin smile came across his face.
"We are in the shadows of your heart and I have been here since your grandfather's first disappearance. Also, I'm in love with you too, Alice." Masquerade
cooed. As he played with her soft,brightly colored hair; he leaned over and whispered in Alice's ear "Are you tired of feeling alone, Alice?". Alice was speechless.
