Supergirl: Behind the Glasses

Cat grant was happy that her company CatCo was now safe and sound after the hack but now came the difficult part, facing Kara about her suspicion.
"Huh another crisis averted thanks to you Kara" Cat said as she poured herself a drink "My guardian angel"
Kara smiled happily for the first time in what seemed like days after taking down Astra and discovering her mother used her to imprison Astra, taking the folder from Cat's hand Kara turned to leave.
"You have saved me from a potentially embarrassing situation with Adam" Kara shrugged "Well" Cat smiled before cutting her off "You know I've been thinking about when you said you over heard Dirk after the meeting… I was standing right next to you" she smirked.
Kara felt her heart beat faster as Cat took a sip from her drink before continuing "there was no way you were within earshot… then I was thinking about all the times you disappeared from sight and 2 seconds later Supergirl shows up… then how you got offended when I named her Supergirl" Kara laughed it off nervously "Just being political"
"Take off your glasses" Cat ordered, Kara fiddled with her glass a bit as she laughed "I'll be blind without them" "I'd doubt that" Cat replied looking very serious "Kara if you don't I will take it as confirmation" Kara sighed in defeat as she turned away and removed her glasses before turning back to face Cat.
Cat smiled raising her glass to Kara "may I say thank you for everything you've done for me… Supergirl" Kara gave a nervous smile until she felt Cat's hand on her shoulder "And thank you for saving this city" Kara smiled nodding her head as Cat took Kara's glasses and placed them back on her face "Now go get me a something to eat"
Kara smirked "I assume you're not going to let me have some time off for my good deeds" Kara joked and Cat smirked "Don't push your luck Kara" Kara laughed as she left Cat sitting at her seat with a smile "Bossing Supergirl around is going to be so fun" she said to herself.
"Uh crap" Kara muttered earing her boss as the elevator arrived on her floor.
But she could not help but feel like this was the start of something new.
