So Sweet

"I'm coming baby girl." Jackie said as she walked slowly out of her bedroom and into Johnna's nursery.

It was the middle of the night and Jackie was exhausted but Nick was working so she had no choice but to get up and tend to the infant.

"It's ok sweetheart." Jackie said as she glanced in the crib.

Jackie was not the only one Johnna had woken up.

"Donna mad." Jasmine said as she walked into the nursery.

"Hi sweetie, did Johnna wake you too?" Jackie asked.

"Yeah, Donna cryin." Jasmine said.

"She woke you up with her crying?" Jackie asked.

"Yeah." The little girl said shaking her head.

Jackie smiled at the sleepy child.

"It ok Donna." Jasmine said soothingly as she peered at the baby through the bars on the crib.

"She's wet." Jackie told Jasmine.

"Donna wet?" Jasmine asked.

"Yep, she's wet."

"Bath?" Jasmine asked.

Jackie laughed "No, she didn't take a bath." She said as she picked the baby up and took her over to the changing table.

"Do you want to help Jazz?" Jackie asked.

"Yeah." The little girl said eagerly.

"Ok, grab me a diaper." Jackie said as she herself reached for the baby wipes.

"Here mama." Jasmine said as she handed her a diaper.

"Thank you, you're such a good big sister." Jackie praised.

The little girl beamed.

Jackie changed the baby's diaper and then carried her back to her crib and set her down. The baby started to get fussy again.

"No cry Donna, me seep with you." Jasmine said as she put her hands in the air, indicating to Jackie to pick her up and put her in the crib.

"Oh Jazz, you're so nice, but sweetie you can't sleep in Johnna's crib, you could give her an owie if you sleep in there with her." Jackie said with a smile.

"Uh-oh." Jasmine said.

"Yeah uh-oh." Jackie laughed.

Jasmine however was undeterred. She ran out of the room and came back a couple minutes later with her pillow and blanket.

"Me seep on the foor by Donna." Jasmine said as she laid her pillow and blanket on the floor next to Johnna's crib.

Jackie was almost in tears as she watched Jasmine lay her head on the pillow and pull the blanket over her legs. It was one of the cutest things Jackie had ever seen.

"Sweetie, you don't have to sleep on the floor." Jackie said.

"It ok, me do." Jasmine simply said.

By this time Johnna had calmed down so Jackie walked out of the room. She went and grabbed her cell phone and then went back into the baby's nursery. Jackie snapped a picture of Jasmine. She then saved the picture and went into her text messages and pulled up Nick's number. She typed Jasmine is the best big sister ever, she wants to sleep on the floor by Johnna's crib so Johnna doesn't have to sleep alone. After she had finished typing she sent the picture and the message to Nick.

A couple minutes later her phone beeped at her. She glanced at it and saw Nick had text her back, he said Aww cute, wish I was home, I love and miss you guys.

Jackie smiled we love and miss you too she typed back before hitting the send button on her phone once again.

She then walked out of the nursery. She ran downstairs to get a drink of water, then went to the bathroom, and then returned to the nursery. She peeked into the crib and saw Johnna had fallen asleep. Jasmine was also sleeping so Jackie gently picked her up and then grabbed the little girl's pillow and blanket and carried everything back into Jasmine's room. After she had set the pillow down Jackie gently laid the little girl down and then covered her legs with the blanket.

"Goodnight sweetheart. Mama loves you." Jackie whispered.

She then went back into her own bedroom and crawled into bed.

Johnna was very lucky to have Jasmine as a big sister, but Johnna wasn't the only lucky one, Nick and Jackie were also incredibly blessed to have all three of their children in their lives.

The End!
