This is inspired by a memory I had at chilies, celebrating my cousin's birthday. Hope you like it!
If there was one thing that related the hyuugas together, it was chocolate. Hinata always ate hers with ice cream. Hanabi drank chocolate sauce when she felt like it. Neji always preferred it in a cake. Hiashi like chocolate also, but didn't have a big thing for it.
The four family members were at a new reststraunt in konoha on Hiashi's birthday. Hiashi ordered a burger, Hinata ordered ribs, Hanabi ordered small pizza, and Neji ordered a chicken sandwich. Soon after their meal hinata got all hyped up on sweet tea and decided to honor her fathers birthday. She noticed when the waiter and waitresses announced a persons birthday and sing for them, he would have a glare on his usually stotic face. She waited until their waitress came by. "E-e-excuse me m-miss? ," the heiress said quietly. "Yes, how may I help you? ," the waitress smiled. "Y-y-you s-see that man over there?," hinata pointed to her father. "yes, with the brown hair and the emotionless face?" "y-yes today is his b-birthday. " "ok, just give us a couple minutes!," at this hinata turned with a satisfied smile which almost looked like a smirk. Hanabi saw what her sister did and smirked.
Neji raised an eyebrow at his cousins and looked toward his uncle and smirked. A few moments later, the whole crew of reststraunt employees came out with a big chocolate lava cake with ice cream on top. Hiashi blushed slightly but quickly shrugged it off. He ate half of his cake when he saw his nephew and daughters laughing in their sugar hype and hinata wiping hanabi's face in a sisterly way. He heard neji burp and hinata's giggle. He knew she had announced his birthday, and decided to do something nice for once. "hinata, do you want the rest of this cake?," he asked calmly. Hinata noticed the calmness of his voice and nodded. Hanabi stared wide eyed at the cake along with neji. Hinata saw the want in their eyes and handed them each a spare spoon. They darted mercilessly at the poor cake.
"hanabi, if you eat that ice cream, I will beat you with your own spoon.," hinata threatened without a stutter. There had become a spoon sword fight for the ice cream. "hinata, you better not eat that last bite of cake!," neji said. Hinata swiped the piece on her spoon and stuck her tounge out. "don't tell me what to do," she taunted. Neji raised an eyebrow and swiped the last piece from her spoon and ate it. There was still chocolate sauce left, so hanabi licked the bowl. "Dang woman! Let the freaking bowl go!" hinata grunted trying to pull the bowl away from her stronger sister. Neji joined and they managed to get the bowl away from her to see it was all clean.
Hiashi stood up to leave when he saw the three wiping each others faces. Hinata was wiping hanabi's, hanabi was wiping nejis, and neji hinatas. Then hiashi concluded ; the love of chocolate can bring family together.
