Enemy Combatant, spoilers

Over the years the members of the bull pen had suspected that Gibbs had a secret location for watching his team. He always seemed to know when they where up to something or when they had something to share.

From his position under the stairs he could see Abby explaining her mathematical algorithm about who Bishop was dating. It was something that had been distracting his team for a while now and he knew he could count on Abby to move the point of interest. The fact that Alex suggest that she could see him dating Bishop made him smile. Okay, he thought, time to end this little show.

As everyone was getting ready to leave for the evening, they were still discussing who Bishop was dating. Torres and Alex where plying Bishop with questions while McGee just kept his head down. It's not that he didn't want to know, it's that he already knew. He'd known for a while officially and unofficially. But what he knew was not his secret to tell.

Gibbs spotted Abby out the corner of his eye and his gut told him what to do, "Bishop" he said just as she stood up to head home.
"Yes Gibbs"
Gibbs glanced at Abby, he knew what he was doing, he just hoped Abby would follow his lead. He smiled to himself, of course she would, they knew each other to well not to.
"You enjoy dinner the other night?"
All eyes turned to Bishop as she turned bright red "Yes, Gibbs, it was lovely"

Abby caught the look on Gibbs face and made herself known "hey guys, what's going on?"

"Bishops and Gibbs" Alex and Tores said at once, unable to complete a sentence.

McGee looked up from his desk then "Bishop and Gibbs had dinner" he said filling in the gaps. He'd been here before, he knew this game.

Abby looped her arm through Gibbs "didn't I say he could cook" Abby said all excited and bouncy. "We really should do it again soon." Abby said "maybe with everyone?" She added pouting at Gibbs.
All eyes now turned to Abby, but Abby didn't blush she just rested her head on Gibbs shoulder, "He cooks, we eat. Or. I cook and we eat. Or. We both cook and we both eat."
Everyone looked at everyone else, unsure as to what to say next.
"Take me home Gunney" Abby finally said.
"Never have to ask" Gibbs replied with a smile.

As Gibbs walked with Abby to the elevator the bull pen went silent, that was until the doors closed.

McGeee simply sat down and continued his work.

"no?" Torres said "they can't be, can they?"
"There are rules, aren't there rules" Alex added sounding all confused
Torres looked at McGee "you've been here the longest, Spill"

McGee turned his monitor off, picked up his bag and simply said "If you're half the investigators Gibbs thinks you are, you already know the answer. See you in the morning"
