Title: death
I was always weak in the face of death no matter who it was. Or whether I knew them or not. To me it didn't even matter if I hated them, for when I heard of a death I would cry. Even if it was just a little to myself. But one night when I was reading in the dining room of the eastern air temple I received this letter from what appeared to be a solder. Knowing that I rarely get any visitors I was quite curious as to what happened. So as soon as the solder left I read the letter
Dear mistress Katara of the Southern Water Tribe,
I regret to inform you that your husband Avatar Aang was killed by a shot of lighting in the heart by princess Azula. I am terribly sorry for your loss and he sent this along to you as his final wishes.
Be safe,
Fire Lord Zuko
As I pulled out what was stuck in the scroll it was another note from Aang on his death bed. This one read
Katara I am so very sorry for breaking my promise to you as I said that I will return home. Please forgive me and take care of Nikkia. She is the world's only hope for repopulating the air benders now. I will love you always katara
As I dropped the letter sobbing heavily I tried not to think that my beloved Aang is gone. How I just wished that he could be here to comfort be right now. So as I move to the library to begin writing the letter to all of our friends and relatives about Aang's death. I being to wonder how I will tell Nikkia about her father's death, so as I call Nikkia to the library, the thoughts of sadness are gone for a moment. So that I can think of a way to make that wretch Azula pay for what she did to my husband.
A/N: this is my first story and flames are welcome but please make them constructive. This is probably going to just be a series of one shot shorts and most will be kataang, tokka, makio, and jetzula. Only because I ship this parings I take requests but I will not I repeat will not do zutara.
