Chapter 0: Prologue
Click. Sight flickered to life. It was a beautiful view of a forest outing, pointed about 35 degrees upwards into the sky. The sun was out, there were no clouds, and leaves were visible around the edges of the view. Although, the scenery was oddly static.
"Today, ladies and gentlemons, we will-ack, ow." The sound of rustling could be heard, as if there was a small critter trailing away. "Frickin' Pachirisu...biting my leg..." A female, tomboyish voice could be heard clearing her throat. "I said today, ladies and gentlemons, we will be following the endearing story of our protagonist, Sia- *Cough* s-Siana." She went a little raspy from the hawking.
A second after she stopped talking, the view shifted around a 180 degree angle to show a cyan-colored Gardevoir with an orange downwards-angled pointy wedge in her chest, as well as an expression of discomfort strewn across her face.
"Jeez, first comes the squirrel, then comes the bird." She hesitated several times, showing that she's probably not thinking her words through much at all.
"Like it's... *Cough* ...like it's coughing up it's, uh, food. For it's babie-birds do that, right?" She interrupted herself due to a sudden realization that she may be incorrect. "They food bi-feed birds their food, like, through their mouth?" The very-clearly-feminine-toned-but-with-a-hint-of-raspiness-yet-still-female Gardevoir paused for a number of seconds, potentially thinking about it.
She begun scratching the side of her face with her right hand, although her hand was, oddly enough, gray. It seemed particularly glossier than the rest of her body, and her own reflection could be seen on it's side. Almost as if it was mechanical.
"...Actually I think I should probably shut up. For about five minutes." She stopped scratching her face, dropping her hand back to her side. "Give me five mi-no, give me like seven, and I'll be back." Shortly afterwards, it sounded like something was hastily put down, as the viewpoint shifted to a wooden surface, shaded in a pitch black shadow thanks to whatever was recording the video. The voice of the Gardevoir now sounded like it was coming from across a room unseen due to the lack of vision. "Holy crap I just got sidetracked talking about puking birds...meh. I'll just listen to music."
Seven hours of accurate dubstep humming later...
...and five minutes of forgetting where the mute button was...
...and two more minutes of an emergency Twitter update...
Suddenly, the vision shook. The sound blared with rustling. The view shifted to show the Gardevoir once again.
"Okay, so...I just realized that I left my phone on for seven hours." She spoke with a slightly nervous tone. "It's already like...nine o' clicket. PM, for you opposite-side-of-earth people." As she finished the sentence, she released a yawn into her free hand. "Soooo that means it's time for me to get a good fortnight o' sleep. This is greenGregsandGraham, signing off." She said before going quiet for a few seconds, only to start back up again.
"...Peeaaace out. Smell ya later, uh...See ya in a flash. Later, Feraligatr."
"..."
"...Trubbish did nine-eleven."
Click. The Gardevoir flickered away as the screen shut off.
