It has been several years sense Kagome had come through the well, the jewel was almost full, Naraku had the last quarter of it. Naraku kept running and hiding from them and with good reason.
At nine-teen Kagome had unlocked her full priestess power...power stronger then that of any priestess in history.
When it was unleashed upon a powerful demon it disintegrated instantly.
Her power drew many other demons to them, one being the great Lord Sesshomaru.
After the great Inuyasha-Sesshomaru battle, which ended with Kagome stopping them from harming each other, Kagome healing and giving Sesshomaru his other arm back, and Kagome inviting Sesshomaru and his party to help them with Naraku.
Sesshomaru was watching as Kagome made them all dinner that night, both Rin and Shippo siting comfortably on her lap, when Rin broke the silents. "Lord Sesshomaru, where do babies come from?"
Miroku and Inuyasha snickered quietly, Sango had a smile on her face, Shippo looked just looked at Sesshomaru waiting for an answer as well as Rin.
Sesshomaru had a look of surprise on his face. He thought about it for a moment. "Babies come from..."
Kagome smiled kindly at Rin. "When mothers and fathers love each-other they prey to the gods for a child," Everyone was silent as she told Rin and Shippo a story. "and when the gods look into their heart and see that they really do love each other they make a baby the size of the tips of your fingers," Rin and Shippo both looked at their finger tips. "and they put it in the mothers tummy, and as the baby grows, so does the mothers tummy. Then after nine months the mother finally gives birth to a beautiful baby...does that answer your question Rin?"
Rin thought for a minute. "Yes, it does, thanks you Kagome!" She said happily, biting into her dinner.
After a few hours of silents Sesshomaru looked over to Rin questioningly. "Rin, are you hurt?"
Rin seemed surprised but shook her head. "No, Lord Sesshomaru, why?"
"I smell your blood."
Kagome shared a look with Sango, before standing up and taking Rin's hand. "Come one Rin, Sango and I have to teach you something else."
Inuyasha raised a brow in confusion, that's why Miroku leaned over and whispered in his ear.
"Well, why do they do that? That is just weird, we men don't bleed."
"Well you men don't have to carry a child inside of you for nine months ether!" Kagome yelled back.
Inuyasha shrieked back but stayed silent. Miroku chuckled, Shippo looked confused, and Sesshomaru sighed, mentally telling himself to keep a female companion for Rin, then thanked the gods he didn't have to tell Rin about that time of month as well as where babies come from.
