This story actually goes with the only other story I've posted on here, At Three in the Morning. This basically happens right after that one. It can be read by itself but it might make more sense or be more fun if you read them both. There will most likely be one more to go with these.

Disclaimer: If you recognize it, it's not mine.

Enjoy! :)

Knock, Knock, Knock.

It wasn't as loud as the banging he had wanted to do on Al's door, but he knew he didn't need to be that loud here since it was very likely that she was still up, despite the hour. Probably reading.

He heard something fall to the floor with a loud crash that sounded like a place and some eating utensils. This, of course, was followed by some loud cursing he was sure her mum would be shocked to hear from her. Hell, her father would probably even be shocked to hear it coming fro his little girl.

When the door was finally flung open he found himself face-to-face with a rather disheveled Rose Weasley. And a wand an inch away from his nose.

"Scorpius?" The wand lowered, "What the bloody hell are you doing here? It's almost 4"

"You know I could ask you the same thing. It's 4 in the morning Rosie, why are you still up reading."

"Ugh. Scorpius, I'm too tired for this. What do you want?"

By now they had moved from the door way to the sitting room and sure enough there is a book on the floor surrounded by a plate, a knife, a fork and the remains of what was probably Rose's dinner. "Ten points for me." He thought smirking.

"Scorpius?!" A hand was waving in his face and the voice sharp and a bit irritated, but still lovely. He turned around to face her.

And couldn't help himself. He reached out and brought her lips to his.

The kiss was short, sweet and better than he imagined it wound be. And it ended abruptly when she pulled away and replaced her lips with a sharp sting on the side of his face. She had slapped him.

"What..? Wait, Scorp., What are you… I mean why?... I don't…It's too late Scorp…"

The words were running together and she wasn't making much sense but he heard that last part. His face fell. The smile that had been present since he had left Al's, and had only increased when he was finally kissing her, disappeared. He backed up and turned way saying "Oh, alright then. I understand. See you around Rosie", just hoping his voice wouldn't break and that he'd eventually have the courage to face her again someday.

He turned to the door, because he didn't know how much longer her could be near her and not break. Right before he reached the door, he felt a hand on his arm.

"Scorp. I'm sorry. I didn't mean-" He cut her off by shrugging off her had and saying, a bit harsher than he intended, "It's ok Rosie. I get it. Goodbye." Then he walked out the door.

When she realized that he really was gone, she sank to the floor.
