Okay, I don't even know why we have to put these things, people know
this off-hand, but the only thing I own in this story are the characters
Takharu, Iteya, and Sheftu. The rest is Kazuki Takahashi's work, so leave
moi alone.
Now before I start this, you need to know my Main Characters. First is my Personal Character Takharu. Short brown hair, brown eyes, and tall, quite tall for a 13-year old. Iteya represents my friend Ashley, long brown hair, green eyes, and when she stands beside me and Sheftu, she's the shortest. I'm not only the tallest, but the oldest, too. Iteya is born April (Egyptian: Iti) 1st. I was born on February (Jeti) 11th, and Sheftu on July (Puri) 16th. Speaking of Sheftu, she is my Best Friend Kaileigh, short blonde hair w/ natural brown highlights, brownish-blue eyes, and a Shortie, but not as much as Iteya! Chappie One: Takharu's Life
Takharu sat on the little bed in the corner of her one-room hut reading a scroll on the history of Egypt. She was the Daughter of the Pharaoh Sethos Reddjedet, killed in the Great War against the Bedouins and Lebanonians, 2 of the Major enemies of Egypt. It was 13 years ago, the Great War, in the month of Jeti. The Eleventh was the day it ended, and the day Takharu was born. Takharu liked that fact, and hated it, too. For there was something very twisted about Takharus life. Even though she was the Pharaohs daughter, this fact was hidden from her. Her mother Hytsu died at when she had Takharu, leaving her alone in the world. Akunumkanon was to take Sethos's place as Pharaoh, since he was Sethos's closest and most honourable friend. He took Takharu in, to take care of her until she was old enough to rule. But the people of Luxor, the city Takharu currently resides in, hated female rulers. Luxor usually was a rebellious city, because of what Cleopatra had done to it. (long story, and hard to put in words, so don't ask, and don't flame please) So the people of Luxor had a town meeting, and decided to kill Takharu. But Tenakuru Kuthos (Sheftu's father) took pity on Takharu. He was ordered to kill her, but somehow managed to convince the Luxorians (that's just what I call them.) to not harm Takharu. So they kidnapped her. Even Sheftu, who was born 6 months later, found out nothing about this. Tenakuru took Takharu in and raised her. But the villagers decided she was to know nothing of her past, so Tenakuru made up a huge lie. He told this to Takharu when she was old enough to "handle the truth": "Taka, (that's what most people will be calling her in this) your parents were evil people, that's why us villagers rescued you. Your parents were Kitior (fake father) and Rentos (fake mother), the murderers. They died on the day the great war ended, when your mother had you. She died of childbirth, and your father of war, on the enemies side. I'm sorry Takharu, but it's all true (he! Ya right!)" So Takharu grew up with that "horrible truth", and never got over it. Ever. Only 4 things could take this evilness off her mind. The first one, was her friend Sheftu, and second Iteya. They were Takharu's only friends, and helped her build her little hut of which she lived in alone at the age of 9, because she didn't want to burden Tenakuru anymore. Her third was school, of which she only got because the people still had to respect who she was (hey, they gotta be a little honourable!). She loved school, and she loved to use papyrus and black pigment to write out stuff in heiroglyphs. But her fourth thing that drew her from the emotional world, was her pet Dragon, Koumori.
