Prescription...

Shepard groaned softly as she regained consciousness, and opened her eyes. She immediately wished she hadn't. The lights over her head were blinding, and she could hear people talking. To be honest, it reminded her of another time she woke up, with people leaning over her chattering amongst themselves.
"Shepard!" That was Garrus, who was closest to her head. Others echoed it shortly after. She felt his three fingered hand on her shoulder and shook her head, trying to clear it. She regretted it instantly. "Don't try to move. You're in the med-bay."
"Damn, I feel sick," she managed, putting a hand to her head. What had she been doing before this? Thinking hurt too, so she just waited to be filled in by the dark blurs that were standing around her.
Dr. Chakwas spoke next. "I'm not surprised. You'll probably feel a bit ill for the next few hours. I had to give you an injection of epinephrine. You were moments away from suffocating. Your airways had nearly swelled shut when Garrus got you in here."
Oh, that's what she'd been doing...She felt her lips pull into a half-grin and she coughed, covering her mouth to hide it. Her vision cleared a bit and she glanced around, then groaned. The entire team was standing around the table, looking down at her with some concern. Except Mordin, who was giving her a look that told her that he was suspicious of the events that led up to her current situation.
Using the hand she still had at her mouth to wipe the smile away, she sat up, taking several moments to keep from bursting into giggles. She hung her head, grinding her teeth until her jaw hurt. "I'm alright. Thanks for the concern," she managed, maintaining her straight face. "I'll talk to the rest of you later."
Everyone began filing out except Mordin. When Garrus passed him, the salarian grabbed the turian's arm, preventing him from leaving as well, then pointed to a bed. Garrus gave her a concerned look and took a seat on the bed nearest hers. After Garrus was seated, Mordin left.
As the last of the crew left the room, the salarian glanced back with a wry smirk and the door shut before Shepard could swear. Once it was shut, Dr. Chakwas crossed her arms, leaning back against the desk, not speaking, just looking at them.
"Shepard, exactly what happened that caused you to have an allergic reaction in your quarters," Chakwas finally asked, frowning at her.
She glanced towards Garrus and gave a wicked grin. "I ingested."
