He gazed at the photo, his eyes full of longing. "Oh, Kaname. Why do you love her so? There are others who could return those feelings ten times more than Yuki."
A tear fell onto the picture of Kaname. Aido quickly dried his eyes, "I can't let my petty feelings ruin such beauty! Your beauty is as cold as my ice, dear pureblood, so in my ice you'll be safe." He froze ice around the photo with gentle caresses.
"I might not be able to protect you in real life, but at least I can do this much." As he stroked the ice, he felt a strange urge to kiss it. Since he was alone and no one was around, he did.
For almost two minutes he stayed in lip lock. Then when he tried to break away, he found he couldn't. His lips were frozen to the ice!
Aido began to freak out, "Kain! I need help! It's really bad!"
Moments later the cousin in question burst into the room. He was in a panic at first, until he saw Aido's situation. Kain nearly fell over laughing, "Oh my god! You really have lost it!"
The younger vampire growled, "Very funny, blah blah blah. Now get this off of me!"
"What do you want me to do? Burn your face off?!"
Aido rolled his eyes, "I'm going to find someone else to help, since you obviously won't." After some trouble lifting the ice up, Aido tried his best to storm out of the room.
He hadn't gone too far until he reached Ichijo and Shiki's dorm, "The vice president might be able to help." But judging by the noises behind the door, Ichijo was a bit busy. Aido quickly hurried down the hall; tripping over Ruka.
"Watch where you're going!" she spat. As she brushed herself off, Ruka took a go look at Aido. Her eyes narrowed, " You're such a kiss up! Do you really think Kaname will be happy that you are walking around with his picture frozen to your lips?" Then an idea came to her mind. "Well I'm just as loyal to him as you are!" Ruka said as she kissed the other side of the ice.
"Smart One! I didn't purposely freeze myself to this! It was an accident." Aido struggled to push Ruka away, but she was just as stuck as he was.
Deciding to work together for once, the vampires returned to Aido and Kain's dorm as quickly as they could. Inside they found Kain, arms causally folded behind his head, waiting for his cousin's return. He looked surprised to see Ruka on the other side of the ice block. "Oh no! He got to you, didn't he?" he said as he felt the heat of a pair of light brown and a pair of sky blue eyes.
"Ok, I'll try my best." He walked over to them, laying a chaste kiss on Ruka's frozen mouth. Instantly the extra warmth from his lips freed her. They didn't break contact until Aido began to throw a tamper tantrum. Kain sighed, "Alright, fine Aido! Don't blame me if you get burnt." A spark of fire flew from his hand.
"OWWWW!" Aido cried as the flame melted the ice (and practically singed of his lips), but he couldn't complain. He looked at the other two, but they were too engrossed with each other to notice him. He shrugged his shoulders, "Well, now I need to get another picture of Kaname. See you guys later!"
