Crepuscular Light (Twilight)

Alice P.O.V.

The story begins with an unconditional love, one so impossible that it can only exist on pages. We wish it was physically possible to happen to us but the chances are slim to none, and for most it is none. But not Bella Swan.

"You're going to fall in love with her," I tried to convince Edward "she will be one of our kind eventually."

"Your visions are based on what people chose, Alice." Edward accused "and I have chosen the outcome to be otherwise."

"You haven't," I declared "you are going to say that now but you'll thank me later."

"I won't," he muttered "and for once I'll prove you wrong."

"Impossible, you'll change your mind. You'll see."

"Yes," he whispered "we will." Jasper entered the room now and a wave of relaxation came over me.

"Alice," He cautioned the anger taking over me had passed and I wrapped my arms around his stone figure.

"You believe me right?" I whispered

"Always, my love, always." He held me tighter.

"Gag," Edward pretended to barf and I turned my head to face him.

"One day you'll understand," I murmured "just you wait till I prove you wrong."

"That's not going to happen, I refuse to fall in love with this girl.

"That what you say now, but you wait she will strike you differently."

"I think I can handle it,"

"You think you can." I took Jasper's hand and ran up the stairs at an unbelievable speed. He'll see.

Then Twilight begins, and Edward learns not to bet against Alice.
