A short little one shot that popped up one night while doing nothing.
Sue woke to yelling coming from the living room. She sighed and looked over at her clock.7:00. She turned and looked up at the ceiling. I'm gonna kill those two. Grumbling to herself, she sat up and headed toward the bathroom.After getting dressed, she walked into the living room and prepared to find the worst.
Just as she thought. Ben and Johnny were standing infront of each other argueing over God knows what. She looked over at the couch and saw Reed sitting there eating popcorn. " What are you doing?" She asked raising her hands to her hips. He gave her a nervous grin and patted the empty spot next to him. " Have a seat."
She hesitated for a moment then walked over and sat down. " This is pretty good." He commented, not turning from the sight before them. Sue sighed again and placed her forehead on the palm of her hand. " What about?" She asked expressionless. He momentarily looked at the floor, then back up. " I don't really know."
" Your all insane." She got up and placed a force feild up between Ben and Johnny. " Okay guys. I'd like to have a simi-normal morning." They glared one last time at each other then Johnny stormed off down the hall. Ben grunted in approval then went into the kitchen. Then she walked over to Reed and grabbed his popcorn. " How about a decsent breakfast. Not popcorn."
She threw the bag away and got the pancake mix out. " I'll help you." Reed said digging around in the fridge. She nodded, thankful for the help. Not more than 2 minutes later she heard a bowl hit the ground and a gasp. She spun around and saw Reed staring at his clothes, where the mix was smeared down his shirt and pants. She glared at him and threw a cloth into his hands.
" I...uh.." She continued to scowl at him then turned back to the stove. " Just...get cleaned up." He looked over at Ben, who had a smug grin on his face. " Smooth." Reed turned his attention back to his clothes as Sue started to make eggs. As if on que, Johnny came trudging in and plopped himself in a chair.
" What have you people been doing!?" He exclaimed while looking over the mess in the kitchen. " Nothing much." Reed answered while wiping the mess on the floor." uh-huh." Johnny rolled his eyes and scanned down a paper that was infront of him." Well, I'm gone." He said getting up and heading for the door." What about breakfast?" Ben called out after him." Sorry Pebbles. Things to do, places to go."
" One less mouth to feed." Ben commented and looked through the paper Johnny had. Sue placed a plate infront of Ben and paced down the hall to her room. Reed stared after her and put his cloth down. " I'll go talk to her." Ben held out his hand before he could go anywhere. " Change first, genius."
Reed nodded and jogged to his out, with clean clothes, he walked quietly over to Sue's room and opened the door a crack.Peering in, he saw Sue sitting on the edge of her bed. " Sue?" She didn't answer, but flopped down on the bed. He walked in and stood next to her bed." Are you ok?"
She looked at him, but continued to say nothing. " Sorry about the mess in there. I'm not the most graceful when it comes to kitchens." She looked up at the ceiling with an amused smile. " So I can tell." He laughed a bit himself and sat down next to her. " Why are you in such a bad mood today?"
" Getting woken up by yelling at 7:00 in the morning isn't the best way to start the day you know." He layed down next to her. " I know, but thats our lives.While living with Ben and Johnny anyway." She sighed for possibly the tenth time that day and looked over at Reed. " But is it worth all this ?"
His gaze came down and met her own. " Is really that bad ?" She didn't answer right away.Instead turned her head the opposite direction. After a minute she looked back at him; a warm smile on her face. She moved her head over to his and kissed him lightly on the lips. " I wouldn't give it up ."
