It's tragic, she thinks, that she had to fall in love with him. He comes for days and leaves for months. She wishes she could just push an off button and quit loving Charlie Weasley. She needs him; even as she wishes she didn't, she needs him.

She wonders why.

Why she couldn't make it work with Ron. Why she couldn't bring herself to take a chance with Fred when she knew how he felt. When Charlie was gone, everything became hazy. Why 'couldn't' becomes why 'shouldn't.' Then he appears in the floo and she rushes to hug him. Everything comes back into focus because he is her remedy. But why? Why can't she just pull away?

Then he goes to The Burrow, which frankly will always be home and she's there. His head screws itself back on straight, because she is his clarity. So why does he push her away?

And then, after two years of the same song, she finally succeeds. The music is gone and she's finally done dancing.
