Prologue
Beca's POV
College was not on my list of things to do after high school. As sad as that was I swear I had a good reason, at least I thought I did. Now that I look back at my time at Barden University, I can only think about how that was the best time of my life. You never think about the future during college. At least I never did. I was always living in the moment, never planned ahead. But my major problem was the fact that I hated the idea of commitment, or relationships. If Jesse had never came along I would never have the relationship you see in movies. You know the one were everything falls into place, and you're screwed into falling in love before you know it. I guess you can say this is my fairytale story, except I was no princess, and I definitely was not perfect.
Jesse's POV
I was so stoked to go college. I was ready to party all night, then drag myself out of bed to my classes. Girlfriends were not apart of the perfect college experience. The perfect college experience is were you party all day, have a ton of random hook-ups, but no girlfriends, and to have the greatest time of your life. That was my plan, to bad as soon as I saw Beca my plan went to hell. Beca was so unique and different from all women, that I had to pursue her. And I have never regretted my decision to do so. Beca and I became a fairytale couple. It seemed like nothing we did could go wrong. Until we took some wrong turns and almost destroyed everything we worked so hard for. But I am getting way to far ahead of myself. Let's just start at the beginning, around the time Beca and I started working at the school's radio station.
