Valerie's P.O.V.

How can they be the same person? Danny Fenton's a caring, kind person who helped me when the popular crowd kicked me out. Danny Phantom's a heartless, evil ghost who ruined my life. How can they be one in the same?

Either Danny Fenton was evil, and had been leading me on all this time, or Danny Phantom's good, like he always said… It all came down to trust…

Of course, there's the possibility that his personality is different in each form. Maybe he's only evil in his Phantom form…then again, he hasn't done anything really evil lately…Argh! This is all so confusing!

He might have been telling the truth when he said he was being controlled when he stole all that stuff, and that ringmaster was found with all the stolen goods… and as for the mayor being overshadowed, it seems very probable, after seeing how many of those ghosts didn't seem to like him… Then again, he might have asked the ghosts to act that way… It all comes back to trust.

Why didn't he ever tell me? We had dated for a while for Pete's sake! Yeah, I had never told him about being the Huntress, but that's beside the point…he should have told me! Of course, he must have already known, due to the fact that he knew my father was the one in the basement, which was why he removed my mask…

That would explain why Phantom disappeared when I caught Fenton and Sam kissing in those bushes. She must have tackled him to hide him, and they had kissed.

That would also explain why my ghost-detector always went off around him… It was picking up on the ghost half of him…

If I wasn't so confused, I'd never even think about it, but maybe it's time for me to talk to him… He'd probably be able to explain things better than I can… But I'm so confused; I think approaching him would only make things worse…

I've always considered him my arch-enemy, my foe, just another ghost to defeat and send back to the Ghost Zone. Fenton's supposed to be a freak, a jock punching bag, and one of the originally most unpopular kids in Casper High. Now however, he's the hero of the world, one of the biggest celebrities in the world, and went from geek to most popular kid in the school from just one event!

It is funny to see Paulina try to get with Danny, although I think if Paulina gets too close, Sam will go all 'jealous girlfriend' and bite her. That'd be a sight I'd pay to see! I can see it now, "Paulina VERSUS Sam, a fight for the Ghost Boy". Sam would win of course. Fighting ghosts makes you pretty strong, a fact I can attest to.

He had always held back when we fought; always aiming to take out my board, not hit me… He's risked his butt day after day to save a town that didn't even appreciate him…and I love him all the more for that…
