Remember
Ned doesn't think of Catelyn, wife and companion and love of his life.
He doesn't think of his daughters, young and precious and so very vulnerable.
Nor of his heir, a boy fighting a war, or of a bastard far in the north, who always shall be his son.
He doesn't think of his other boys, too young to understand death and loss.
They are part of who he is, define this man and led him to this place.
He remembers darkness. Blood and promises. Lyanna.
His last thought is of his little sister. He hopes he'll see her again.
A/N: The good men always die first. R.I.P. Eddard Stark.
