Yeah, this is sort of a depressing sort of poem for me. I wrote it at school for an assignment and it was one of the four that I really really liked and it was based off of Sparxshipping anyway. So, I hope you like it and I'll see you at the end of the poem.
He was the one who I trusted.
He was the one who I was close to.
But his heart has now rusted,
Like most of them do.
As I had tried to stop myself from causing your dreadful fate
I realize I had only been bait.
And the fire you once were
Does not allure.
My anger, yes it builds as I see you lying dead
While I cannot move for my body feels like lead.
My tears they fall quickly
As they tell me my throat feels prickly.
I shake my head and bang my fists
On the scene that I shan't miss.
But as his silence fills the room,
I see the darkness finally bloom.
Nothing seems the same
As you return from where you came.
And I don't see the point in living
Even though you were so giving
In the life that you have left
That I consider theft.
You introduced me to the new you
But now you're forced to say an early adieu.
I must finally console myself that you're okay
And I'll survive another day
Moving on as life progresses
Like the wind through my long tresses.
Please just give me a small tiny sign
That you can whisper through forests' pine.
I close my eyes and heave my chest
For I hear you say it's for the best.
I take a step toward the door
And I know we are finally no more.
I whisper a final goodbye
And let out a shaky sigh
While the pain feels like a brand
For you were killed by my own hand.
Alright, yeah, it rhymes, I know. ...Shoosh I'm not that good with rhyming words, okay! Anyway, I'm sorry for the lack of constant updates. I've been having a rough time lately and I'm working on trying to get a full story done by a certain date because it's a birthday present and all this other junk-a-junk.
