After loosing her ninja way or, Nindo, Sakura left her village, and traveled the world to try and find it. Over time – after many trials, Sakura had begun to realize that it was a lost cause. That he would be lost to her forever. His name was Sasuke and he had ruined her hopes and dreams.
With a heavy blow to her heart, Sakura found that she couldn't return to her home without a nindo. She felt that it would be unfair to herself, her village, and her friends, if she returned empty handed, weak, and useless.
Her teacher, Tsunade – Hokage of Kohona, had realized that Sakura would not return. And gave Sakura an everlasting mission to track groups of threatening ninja as Tsunade saw fit. Sakura, even knowing the danger of tracking these men, agreed to the mission; and greatly appreciated her sensei's concern of keeping her out missing-nin status.
So, Sakura did her job, and became stronger with every passing day. And in the breaks of her mission Sakura made new friends, developed new – strong techniques, learned new jutsus, and found a new nindo. But ten years later, Sakura finds that she has little left to learn, and decides to return to her village. She believes that this is the end of her journey… oh, how wrong she was.
A story of a woman who was weak and broken, but learned how to find balance on the edge of a kunai – of life – in a place that she was never able to tread before. A woman who learned how to be kind, loving, and gentle. A woman who possesses unbreakable strength, and power.
They called her the She-Bear Ninja, and she became a legend.
This story begins at the end of a long odyssey; when Sakura finds herself standing at the gates of her hometown.
