My first fic.I hope everyone likes it. It's a NejiTen, my favorite couple.

Protection
She was always training - always trying her best.
Sometimes being too hard on herself.
I've seen her covered in bruises,cuts and bleeding, thankfully lightly. She comes from her missions in better form.
And after, she trains again, always thinking she didn't do good enough and could do better.
So I help her, like she helped me. I stand by her side, making sure she is alright.
Part of me wishes she knew I was watching, as she trained and always got a little better. I wish she knew how highly I think of her - my team mate, but also my friend. I want to tell her that she is strong, and that I have never thought of her as weak.
Part of me wishes she would stop.
So now, I watch her. I'm by her side like she was at mine.
And I grow stronger by her side, to protect her, like she does to protect the people she loves.
I am this strong because of her.
And for her.
