Hey guys! I decided to write a short and sweet Takari for Valentines Day! I hope you enjoy! Please make sure to rate!
Line
A girl with short brown hair that reached her shoulders sat on a cream-colored couch. She looked like she was in her early 30s. Her deep chocolate eyes looked down as she rested her head next to a boy with shaggy blond hair, he had a small little girl in his lap, about 6 or 7. His deep blue eyes rested on the laughing little creature. The small little girl had the same deep blue eyes as her father and her long brown hair reached halfway down her back.
"Daddy?" she said softly as she stopped laughing
"Yeah?" the 32-year-old boy said to his small 6-year-old daughter.
"How did you and mommy meet?" she asked the girl smiled weakly at the question and she scooped her out of her husband's lap.
"How about we tell you about when we started to love each other?" she asked, knowing that was such a better story and the little girl turned her head and let out an energetic "OKAY!" TK saw his wife's glance as she started the story. "It was 18 years ago" she started and her daughter interjected
"18!? Wow, your OLD" and her mother stared at her playfully and her husband laughed.
"She's got your sass, Kari"
"Excuse me?" she said turning to her husband and he laughed.
"Continue the story!" their daughter complained.
"Ok ok, I will if you be quiet," Kari said with a smile
"Ellie quiet?" TK gaped "Never" he joked and Kari rolled her eyes
"Anyway," Kari said and added,"we were 14 and we were walking home from school when we passed a park when-."
"Oh not this story" TK complained
"Yes this one" Kari said
"Just tell me the story!" Ellie complained her blue eyes shining and TK and Kari laughed
"Ok," Kari started
Flashback
Two young kids walked across the sidewalk waiting for the light to indicate they can cross the street.
"You look mad," TK said, his blond hair shining in the sunlight, and his eyes looked like an ocean.
"I am," Kari said, her cinnamon like eyes flared anger, and if this was a TV show TK thought her hair would stand up like in those weird cartoons.
"What happened?" TK asked concerned and Kari groaned as the light turned green and they started to walk
"Freaking Harold keeps bugging me about y-" Kari cut herself off "this person! He thinks we're dating or something.." Kari said and blushed
"Oh?" TK said, "You're mad about that?" TK asked
"Well, no," Kari said
"Then what are you mad about?" TK said confused and Kari blushed as they made it across the road and continued across the sidewalk to the right, there was a park next to them and they heard the excited squeals of little kids playing tag.
"Well.." Kari said, "I'm mad because we're not dating and every time he asks its a constant reminder of how much I want us to date.." Kari said and she stopped and TK got a couple steps in front of her and stopped and turned around to see Kari looking at her feet, she looked uncomfortable, in a good way. She stared at her reflection in her shiny black shoes.
"And… whos that..?" TK asked and Kari looked up "And if you gave into Davis I swear to god" TK joked and Kari smiled
"It's a secret," she said as she walked past him head held high
"Heyyyy" TK protested as he speeds up to get next to her "You can't do that! You have to at least give me a clue!" TK said flustered
"No, I don't" Kari jokes "Besides I sense a jealous TK"
"What- No- I'm not-" TK sighed in embarrassment "I'm NOT! Embarrassed!" TK protested.
"Ok sure" Kari laughed and she stopped as she saw a kid in a red sweatshirt and jeans, he had brown hair and brown eyes and he was spinning a keychain on his finger. "Great" Kari mumbled as he stepped closer
"Hey Kari," He said
"What do you want Harold" Kari spat and TK watched confused as Harold got closer to Kari
"Are you gonna give me a straight answer?" Harold said and TK could tell Kari was uncomfortable. Harold reached out to push Kari's hair out of her face and Kari closed her eyes tightly and was surprised by Harolds gasp as TK grabbed Harolds hand and pushed it down
"Knock it off," TK said sternly "Where's your respect?" Harold shook his head and walked away and TK sighed and turned around to face Kari "You ok?" he asked and Kari nodded
"Yeah, I'm fine," she said "Thank You," she said and TK nodded
"Your welcome" TK smiled
"TK.," Kari said and looked down
"Yeah?" TK asked
"The person I was talking about," she said and TK was shocked as he felt Kari hug him "It was you," Kari said and TK smiled and hugged her back
"I was hoping you would say that," TK said with a smile and they stayed in that hug for a moment and they found themselves leaning in
Back in the present
"And that's the end," TK said and Kari laughed
"Daddy you were scary then what happened," Ellie said
"WOW," TK said and Kari laughed
"She has a point," Kari said
"Don't you have work?" TK asked annoyed and looked at Ellie "And you have school miss" and Ellie laughed
"Yes I do, and Ellie go get ready," Kari says nicely
"Okay!" she said energetically and runs off to her room
"You're still awkward as heck" Kari jokes and stands up
"Huh?" TK says and Kari laughs as Ellie comes out changed
"Bye, Mommy! By non-scary Daddy!" Ellie calls TK rolls his eyes
"Bye Ellie!" He calls
"Bye honey have fun!" Kari calls. She turns to face TK "Could you imagine where we would be if that never happened?" Kari asked and TK stood up
"I don't wanna imagine," TK said and Kari smiled and they hugged
"Neither do I," Kari said softly
