Post Phantom-Planet. All of my other stories are currently on hiatus cuz I had this idea and I HAVE to do it. My idea was- Wulf has huge awesome ghost claws, right? Well, what if someone got scratched by those claws? (Cough Sam Cough) And without further ado… away we go!

Sam's POV

It started out a pretty normal night, really. Well, as normal as you can get when you're best friends with Danny Phantom. Walker's goons had surrounded me, Tucker, Danny and Wulf. Wulf was really the reason they were there. Stupid goons. Apparently they forgot to put him in a reinforced cell. He got out in no time. It's kinda sad how dumb goons can be. That's why they're goons, right?

Danny started sniping them and it looked like I would get some sleep that night after all. But more kept showing up. Like that hydra legend- what was it? – 'cut off one head, two more will take its place.' Well, these morons were the heads. And I should really pay more attention to mythology.

Wulf looked like he was having the time of his life, and he probably was. Those huge claws of his often took out two or three goons in one slash. This was his revenge. After all, these were the guys who had locked him up for a couple centuries.

One of the goons dove at me, and I yelped. At the same time, Wulf spun around in a scything movement that stopped the ghost midflight as the claws sent him to god knows where. I scrambled backwards as Wulf's paw reached me, and I saw his eyes widen. He tried to stop but he had gained too much momentum. I received a tiny nick on my shoulder. I sighed with relief, but Wulf looked like he had just signed my death warrant. And then I blacked out.

Danny's POV

Once we got rid of all the ghosts, I heard a sort of growly crying. I spun around and I saw Wulf sitting on his haunches like a really big dog. Next to him was Sam, lying comatose on the street. His head was bowed over her. And he was crying.

Me and Tucker ran over. Wulf raised his head, his normally bright eyes looking droopy and tired. He growled something that Tucker translated to, "I tried. I couldn't stop."

I frowned. "Couldn't stop? That makes no sense! What happened to her?"

Wulf raised one paw, staring at his claws. Tucker translated as he said, "The curse of the wolf." He reached down to gently push up Sam's sleeve, revealing a cut that glowed purple. "There was a ghost attacking her. I stopped the ghost, but- I infected her."

I frowned. "Infected her? What do you mean?"

"Your human books often have creatures that are half-man, half-wolf, correct? I am the ghost of what you would call a werewolf. And I accidentally scratched her. That means… she is too."

I gawked at him. "Is there anything we can do?"

"Only try to keep her away from bright light and cats as she transforms. I'm sorry, Daniel. Your friend is gone." Wulf shook with fresh sobs.

Me and Tucker started to cry too. It was too much. Sam, a ghost werewolf? And there was nothing we could do?

We stayed like that for a long time. When we finally ran out of tears, I had an idea. "Hey, Wulf. Every ghost has a lair in the Ghost Zone, right?"

Wulf looked up and I was shocked at how bad he looked. He must be beating himself up pretty hard over this. "Y-Yes."

"Does that mean Sam will have one too?" I asked.

"I guess so." He hesitated. "I bet it's right near mine! I could take her there if you're willing to face the wrath of the adults. I'll watch over her, I promise."

Well, it's as good a compromise as any. "Sure. Bring her back to visit soon, will you?"

Wulf nodded energetically. It was clear he wanted something to do. I placed a hand on his shoulder as he lifted Sam up effortlessly. "It wasn't your fault." I told him. He didn't respond. He just looked at me gratefully, opened a portal, jumped through, and then closed it up again.

Sam was gone.

Now what do we tell the grownups?

Okay, since this is really short I'm gonna try to get another chapter up soon. Read&Review! I luv you guys!
