Hey everyone! Cali here, if you didn't know which ofc you probably don't, but ANYHOO I was having Gail/Holly withdrawals, y'all feel that right? So this happened.

"I'm so glad you're here." Her words whispered against my ear and all I wanted in the world was to stay that way forever, wrapped in her arms.
I readjusted my glasses as she introduced me to her brother, and Chris, who may as well be. I smiled in reply to their hellos, too overwhelmed with knowing she's okay, and she wanted to see me. After earlier I wasn't sure if she would anymore, that kiss was like heaven, but the brush off completely messed me up. But now I know everything will be okay. She's alive.
She leads me over to where everyone else is sitting waiting, holding my hand the whole time. We sit and she immediately settles in on my shoulder. I let her of course, and I notice her brother glance over and smile affectionately at her.
"Hey Holly," she says after being silent for so long I thought she'd fallen asleep, "I really am glad you're here, you know."
I look down into those icy blue eyes and notice for the first time the slight redness that circles them. She's looking up at me through her eyelashes though, a shyness to her I didn't think possible. Her eyes try to convey everything she isn't able to say yet, an apology for not speaking to me, her fear for Oliver, Sam and Chloe, and her nervousness about us. But she has no reason to fear us, I'll keep her safe, I can love her.
"I know Gail, of course I know."
