"Morning, beautiful."
The words were spoken so gently into Alison's ear that it was as if they were a part of her dream, simply a figment of her sleepy mind, but the feeling of her girlfriend's warm breath against her ear and the brunette's arms around her felt far too real to be fake.
"Morning, Em." She had fallen asleep in Emily's arms last night, face resting against her chest, and she looked up at her, giving her a sleepy smile.
"Did you sleep well, Sleeping Beauty?" The nickname had come to be a sort of joke between the two, Alison bearing a striking resemblance to the Disney princess. They loved to joke around, talking about how Aurora and Pocahontas had fallen in love with each other.
"Mhmm, I always do when you're here."
"Good." Emily gently kissed Alison's forehead and then went to kiss her lips, but the blonde pulled away, letting out a little giggle.
"Em, morning breath is not sexy."
"You're sexy," Emily retorted.
"I am not."
"You are." Emily brought Alison closer to her again, lacing their fingers together. Alison let out a content sigh, relaxing into the other girl's embrace. The two of them loved to spend lazy mornings in bed together, just cuddling and enjoying each other's company. That was one of the best things about their relationship- they could lie together for hours without it getting weird or awkward.
"Everything about you is sexy," Emily whispered into Alison's ear, and the blonde shivered, Emily's tone sending a thrill of heat down her spine.
"Emily, stop." Her cheeks flushed red and Emily smiled triumphantly, loving when she managed to make Alison blush. If somebody had told her years ago that she would be dating Alison DiLaurentis and that she would be able to make her squirm with a simple compliment she would've laughed in their face, but here they were.
"It's cute when you blush." Her fingers moved to Alison's face, gently tracing the girl's cheekbones with her fingertips, and Alison's eyelids fluttered shut, enjoying the gentle caress of Emily's touch. "But everything else you do is so freaking sexy."
"God, Emily. You really know how to make a girl feel special, you know that?"
"You deserve it," she replied simply.
The two laid in silence for a few moments before Emily began to speak again. "You've always been my dream girl, Ali. And now that I have you I'm never letting you go."
"I don't want you to let me go. I want you, only you."
"I know." Emily captured Alison's in hers again, the two spending a very heated few minutes kissing. And Alison really didn't need to worry about that morning breath, Emily thought to herself.
"So, what do you want to do today?" Emily asked her once they had pulled away. "I was thinking we could go see a movie, or maybe we could go to that new museum-"
"Hmm, I just wanna stay in with you. We can be domestic and make breakfast together, act like teenagers and pretend to watch a movie while we make out. But first..." a smirk flitted across Alison's face. "I need a shower. You're more than welcome to join me."
Emily licked her lips at the thought. Alison, her, and water was an excellent combination. "Deal."
