Harry stare up at the sky, his face scrunched in concentration. There was a chilly breeze that swam about, the sun was setting. The exact sun that caused an image that burned into Harry's mind. Hues of orange, purple, and pink dancing across the sky in a far from rhythmic movement. Everything was calm to a level that unsettled Harry, there was no immediate threat, Voldemort was gone. What more could Harry have wanted, yet the idea of peace did not set well him, of course he was happy that he had no worries that a friend or himself would be faced with death. He already missed the challenge, the drama, everything he had become used to, calmness was unknown territory to him. Closing his eyes Harry mentally prepared for the most boring school year, ignoring the thoughts of how people would react to seeing their savior for the first time since the battle. Tomorrow, it was then he'd be faced with that ordeal. For now he had to get back to the Burrow, and face the hecticness that was brought about when it was nearing the time Hogwarts would start.
Harry pressed his forehead against the cool glass of the window, the silence felt deafening. Hermione was Head Girl this year, which struck Harry as odd since as she was an 8th year, Ron had taken the offer for training to be an auror instead of finishing school. So the story led Harry here, alone in a compartment, mind wandering topic to topic, legs curled underneath him.
A knock drew Harry out of his thoughts, in the doorway stood Neville who radiated excitement.
" Hey Nev, how was your summer?" Harry smiled at his friend who sat across from him.
" Absolutely wonderful" Neville began telling a story of traveling to Africa with Luna in search of a Weeping Glinger, Neville spoke of finding rare plants that he added to his growing garden. Harry's boredom seemed to fade slightly as he caught up with his friend.
-_-_-_-_--_-_--_-_--_ That night everyone's eyes were on Harry, and The-Boy-Who-Lived had never felt so unnerved.
The next morning Harry had woken up in an irritated mood, all through the night people questioned him. They all called him the leader of the light, treated him as a saint. He was asked for autographs, pictures, and opinions. All of it irked Harry, only did he manage to leave on the excuse of being tired. When Harry walked through the hall people's eyes followed his every movement. When he arrived at Breakfast his friends crowded around him, blocking the stares of wonder.
