The 22 Samurai by Som Davarya

In Middle Earth and the time of the War of the One Ring; there lived a Daimyo who was very wealthy and possessed a small kingdom and was an ally of King Théoden of Rohan. However, this alliance stretched backed both from the Daimyo's and King Théoden's ancestors. Finally the Daimyo had an elite guard of 22 samurai, which included 11 men, and 10 women plus one samurai general who was in charge of the elite guard. One day, a wizard came to the castle of the daimyo and introduced himself as Gandalf the White. Gandalf warned that an evil sorcerer named Sauron and his servant named Saruman the Grey would destroy any allies of Rohan. However, Saruman was more focus on destroying any allies of Rohan. So, the daimyo sent a courier with his elite guard to King Théoden. The message was asking permission was to allow his subjects plus his children and wife to hide in Helm's Deep. King Théoden sent a response that he allowed that the daimyo use Helm's Deep as a shelter for his subjects and family. In addition, King Théoden sent word to Helm's Deep to expect them. After the subjects and daimyo's family left for Helm's Deep; the daimyo prepared his elite guard for battle by sending them to the near woods to train with sticks. One day, when the elite guard was training for battle in the nearby woods; the buildings of kingdom were in flames. After the buildings were nothing but ash and burnt wood; the guards found the remains of the daimyo and five monks in the ruins of the castle. After, they mourn and buried the dead; they swore to avenge the death of daimyo and the monks. Then Gandalf came told the guard that Saruman used magic to cause the fire on the buildings also that he (Saruman) is too powerful to be killed by their katanas. Gandalf also mention that the magic came from faraway Isengard. In faraway Isengard; Saruman hastily prepared an army of 50 orcs with swords and 50 orc archers to kill the samurai. One of the great eagles warned Gandalf about the orc army that was marching to kill the samurai. Then Gandalf warned the samurai to be prepared to battle. When Saruman's orc army was about day away; the samurai spent one last day in fasting and praying to their
ancestors that they would either avenge their lord and the monks or they would die in battle. The day of the started with the samurai general saying to his troops, which they should not fear death. Then, the samurai charged into battle and with no fear at all. However, the all of the samurai died since the orc archers fired lots of arrows and hit each samurai.
