Tug, tug.

"GAH!"

"AH!"

It took every amount of willpower that Guy possessed to keep from toppling over onto his tiny assailant. After rapidly regaining his composure and dusting himself off in one swift motion, the servant turned towards his attacker. Large blue eyes, made even larger with the scurry of confusion, peered back.

"Uh… Luke?" The boy said nothing, hands trembling slightly as they clutched onto Guy's shirttails, which the servant concluded to be the origin of this moment. Sighing at his inability to speak, Guy gently pulled the smaller boys' tiny hands from their iron grip around the cloth before kneeling to Luke's eye level.

"Uh, look. I'm sorry I scared you, you just took me by surprise is all…" The child remained silent as the fifteen-year-old house servant scratched the back of his head, trying hard not to lose his balance from his crouching position. "Uh… Are you alright?"

"… Can I have a hug?"

This question, quite understandably, took Guy by surprise.

"Eh, come again?"

Luke huffed. "Can I have a hug?"

Guy felt a bead of sweat make its way down his neck. "Uh…" He opened his arms slightly, not sure of what he was supposed to do.

The boy bit back an oomph! as Luke rushed forward to bury himself into the fabric of the older boys' shirt, nearly bowling him over as he attempted to shatter his ribcage in a rather painful embrace.

Guy looked down at the boy now permanently affixed to his chest, wide-eyed and speechless at the sudden action. He shook his head as Luke's red hair tickled his nose. With an air of uncertainty, he slowly closed his arms around the boy and brought him closer, certain that he had heard a bone in his leg snap.

And just as hastily as it had come into existence, the hug was ended, officially over with as Luke jerked away, successfully shoving Guy squarely on his arse.

"Oh, come on! Was pushing me to the ground truly necessary?" Guy rubbed his arm in mock pain as Luke turned from his retreat.

"It's not my fault you're clumsy! All I wanted was a hug…" And with those final words, Luke spun around the corner, leaving a stunned and confused Guy sitting alone on his arse.

Short, sweet, and to the point. Expect more pointless fluff stories from me in the near future.
