Hey guys enjoy the story!

That funny moment the Great Dragon told Uther it was his destiny to bring back magic

Uther...

There it was again that dreaded voice inside his head nagging him wherever he went.

Uther...

"Make It Stop!" Uther screamed chucking his goblet at the nearest manservant in throwing distance.

Arthur and half of the small council jumped at the Kings booming voice. The noblemen gathered around looking at the king anxiously confused.

"Father... are you alright?"

The King looks at the crowned prince like he's an absolute simpleton ."No Arthur No I Am Most Certainly NOT Okay!" Uther snarks glaring at his son.

Arthur looked at the King for a moment before he nodded chalking his father's mood up to stress and a poor breakfast. Uther looks around at the nobles faces and quickly dismisses the council.

Uther...

For the love of Camelot!. Realizing what he has to do he follows the voice until he reaches the guards standing outside of a stairway leading downward.

Wait I know this path... Realization dawning on the stressed King he almost turns around and went back to bed but the voice in his head seemed to pull him deeper into the dark abyss.

Uther...

With the feeling of approaching danger Uther grabs a lit torch of the wall and with a nod to the surprised guards continues his journey to his probable doom. Finally reaching the bottom and standing at the beginning of the small tunnel into the massive cavern the cautious ruler made his last few steps.

Uther...

Stepping out onto the small platform the suddenly small King lays his eyes on the massive dragon for the first time in twenty years.

"Uther"

"Get out of my head you crazy lizard"

That hurt Uther i'm no lizard I happen to be a great and noble beast more ancient and wise than the entirety of Camelot and her people."

"What do you want it's been twenty years why nag me now?"

"I was bored"

"Really!?"

"Of course not young King."

"Then what do you want dragon?"

"For you to fulfill your destiny"

Uther looks at the beast in suprise.

"And now I suppose you are going to tell me it's my destiny to die a painful death at the hand of a spoon wielding bandit"Uther grumbled back sarcastically.

"Uhhh no it is your destiny to return magic to Camelot and all of Albion! "Kilgharrah said in a wistful voice.

"Oh"

"No one can change their destiny Uther and no one can escape it."

"okay"

"Okay... That's all you have to say!!?"

"Well I see you are serious about this, and your speech was very convincing" Uther says with a satisfied smirk on his face.

"But I had a speech and everything!"

"Too bad my friend."

"Friend we are friends?"

"Yes I feel a bromance coming on! In fact as a gesture of my good will I shall set you free from your prison!!"

"Really?" The Dragon asks in a skeptical voice.

"Really" Uther mimics back as he turns around and flips the rock closest to the doorway, picks up the keys and walks down the steps all the way to the great dragon.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME THE KEYS WERE IN HERE THE WHOLE TIME" Kilgharrah yells irritated that Uther was arrogant enough to hide them in his cage.

"Yep" Uther says smugly while finishing unlocking the chains at the dragons feet.

The great dragon flew in the air shackle free the first time in two decades with the happiest expression Uther had ever seen on man or beast! Landing beside him the Great Dragon kneels over finally doing what he had wanted to for twenty years.

He swallowed Uther whole.
