1. Katie tries out for the quidditch team on a whim. She never actually expects to make it. She has to restrain herself from jumping up and down. She has a huge smile for the rest of the week.
2. She had a crush on Oliver Wood for her first couple years at Hogwarts but never expects anything to come out of it. When Oliver asks her out a couple of weeks after the battle at Hogwarts she is stunned to say the least.
3. When she was in 's after getting cursed, she remembers hearing voices. Katie can't remember what they were saying but she knew it was comforting.
4. Katie was never all the brave as a child. When the sorting hat calls out "Gryffindor" she almost falls off the stool.
5. She had wanted to be a chaser since she was a little girl and saw her first qudditch match. She could not take her eyes off the chasers. Katie knew from then on she has to be one too.
6. Katie doesn't mind all the girls going crazy over her husband because she knows Oliver only has eyes for her and at the end of the day he always comes home to her.
7. Oliver and Katie guess that they are one of the few families whose children are all in different houses. She likes it that way.
8. Katie has won the qudditch cup three times. Each time was better than the last.
9. Even though both her parents are magical she always loved muggle books. Her favourite is Pride and prejudice by Jane Austen.
10. Her favourite day of the week is Sunday because the whole family gets to spend time together. The first Sunday that all of her kids are at Hogwarts she cries. Katie doesn't know how she would have survived that first Sunday without Oliver.
