I haven't posted anything on here for quite awhile, and I just want people to know I haven't abandoned my account or any of my stories. This is just a random drabble I was inspired to write while I was reading Catwoman: Selina's Big Score. In it Stark says that "Nobody owns Selina" which inspired me. Random right? Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.

Disclaimer: I do not own Catwoman or any of the other characters mentioned in this story. They are the property of DC Comics etc, etc.

I have never belonged to someone. People have tried to own me, many, many people. But when it comes down to it, I am free.

Free to lounge around all day with my cats. Free not to have a "real" job. Free to say what I want. Free to stay out all night. Free to do what I want, when I want. Free to be Selina Kyle. Free to be Catwoman. Free to be me. Whoever that is.

I used to own the night completely, then he came along and took some of it from me. The moment we met, sparks flew. As a matter of fact, they still do. But from that night on I had to share it, at first, unwillingly.

They're have been rumors. Rumors that Selina Kyle belongs to someone. Rumors that Catwoman belongs to someone. They're all lies.

I am free. As free as a cat, to come and go as I please. To own the night. People can try to own me, but when it comes down to it, I truly belong to the night. Not even myself. We belong to each other.

Because if I was truly free, I might want to belong to a night. A dark knight to be exact. But I'm not. So until I own myself, I belong to the night, free to come and go as I please, as long as I come back.

Please review! It always makes my day :) BTW, I put this story under DC Superheroes because I couldn't find a section for Catwoman. If you know where one is(or a more accurate location) please let me know. Thanks!
