If you will be my star, I will be your sky

A backdrop for you to shine brightly against.

(But the brightest of stars come from the darkest of nights,

And you burn brighter than the sun)

When I look at the stars, I think of you

A shining idol peering down on me.

(But the stars are billion of miles away

And the light takes million of years to arrive)

You will always be my shooting star,

The image of hope and the bringer of wishes.

(Too fast for me to catch, taunting my fingertips,

A childish dream that fades out of sight)

I have loved the stars too much to be afraid of the night

And I can fearlessly paint myself the darkness required

For you to shine your brightest.

But sometimes the darkness is to be feared

And the cold tendrils of the void of light wraps around me.

Stars need darkness to shine, but darkness does not require light

But I have loved the stars too much to be afraid of the night

So even as it takes me, I fix my eyes on your stars,

Brighter than before,

And remember that stars are the staircase to heaven,

And I know that I will meet you there.

So, I wrote this poem, and it kinda reminded me of LadyNoir and Adrienette as it is right now in the actual series. You can read it as Chat to Ladybug, or Marinette to Adrien, and it's basically them saying that they love the other so much they are willing to do anything to make them happy and keep them safe.

I used a lot of love quotes about stars, the ones I directly quote are mostly anonymous so I can't really credit them? But if you know who wrote them, please let me know so I can! Anyways, I looked at romantic stars quote when I was in a mood, and this is the product of it. Please tell me if you like/dislike it!

I'm not sure if this counts as ML fanfiction, because I wrote it for unrequited love in general, but the more I read it, the more I thought of Adrienette and Ladybug. Do you guys see it? Please let me know if you do!

I may or may not turn this into a story later on, but I'm going to finish some stuff on my other stories, first. Again, please let me know if you did or did not enjoy it, and if you were reminded of LadyNoir or Adrienette in any way. With that said:

Peace, Love, and Baby Ducks!
