A/N: This is my first story so it might be AWFUL, I've never written a story in my entire LIFE! I've been on fanfiction for a year 3 months and yes my profile may say I joined in feburary but this my second account that will mainly be for my stories and I hope you enjoy!

Night

"Big brother?" said a girl of 6 with deep blue eyes staring straight into a pair golden eyes.

"What is it, Kagome?"

"Why are you mad at grandpa? said Kagome with a frown on her face. I don't like it when big brother and grandpa fight!

Sesshoumaru looks up into the sky, he sighs "It's... complicated."

Kagome furrow her brows in confusion, not understanding why but decided not to say anything so she jumps into his lap and hugs him best she could. " I love you big brother!" she cheerfully says.

Sesshoumaru pats her head and smiles " And I to you."

Kagome looks up to him and says " Big brother, will you always be with me?"

He lays his head on hers " I will not abandon you, I will stay by your side and protect you." he vows.

She's smiles and slowly she falls limp against him and her breathes comes evenly indicating shes asleep.

Sesshoumaru gentley picks her up, lay her into bed and covers her up. He stands up and goes to the window, looks up to the moon.

" You will not be taken from me, Kagome. I will protect you til my last breathe."

I know it's short! I'm trying think what to go from here and probably have you guys give me ideas and like I said this will not be a love story for I am not ready for that! This story will be like Sesshoumaru and Rin but this will be 200 years before the hunt for jewel and Naraku take place but that will happen, kinda a memory I guess before we go back to the oringinal. I got this idea from a story called Kagome's Path by CayaC and wanted it to be somewhat like that story. I've already got ideas in my head what I want to happen but the problem is how to write it down, anyway my brain is fried from writing, it took 2 hours DAMN! It'll be a while before I make another chapter, it depends if I'm in the mood really but I've been bored lately so MAYBE! Have a nice day, afternoon, evening, or night!
