A/N: I don't own Buffy, though I wish I did. Updates will be weekly.
Melissa woke up from what she thought was a too-much-Buffy induced nightmare, only to find that wherever she was, it wasn't her room, and she really had to pee. When she was in the bathroom, she looked at the mirror, and saw the face of Michelle Trachtenberg staring back at her. She flushed, washed her hands, and went into the kitchen, only to be stopped in her tracks by a picture of Sarah Michelle Gellar with Nicholas Brendon and Alyson Hannigan. Wait a second, she thought. I'm not Michelle Trachtenberg. I'm Dawn Summers!
Quickly, she ran to her room, and drew up a lopsided family tree, with Joyce, Hank, her, and Buffy. She also drew Xander dotted to Anya, Willow dotted to Tara, and (why not) Buffy dotted to Spike. Giles wasn't dotted, but he was there. On a separate piece of paper, she wrote down what she remembered of Season 5, though it wasn't much. Joyce having a tumor, dying, Glory, Dawn being the key... Wait. I can prevent most of this. Can't I? I know- and Spike can know- Ben is Glory. I'll ask him to pull some strings and get Ben killed when he's Ben. I'll tell Mom to go to the hospital and get her 'nothing' checked out earlier, then tell Spike to hang around Joyce- no, Mom. I'll tell Buffy that Spike can really love, and tell Xander if he doesn't ignore the old man who claims to be him from the future, he'll never be happy. We can take care of most of the hospital bills by getting the tumor now, get Mom life insurance, which should cover the rest of the costs, and tell Willow to use another, non-purple crystal. It will all work perfectly!
"Dawn! Breakfast!"
"Coming!" She quickly got dressed, marveling at the wonders of Dawn's clothing. Buffy's clothes are better, but, you know... Then the pancake smell became too wonderful to ignore, and she headed down the hall, eyes closed.
