Addiction

She knows what she is doing is wrong, but she won't stop. She can't stop. He's her weakness, her addiction. He consumes her whenever he's around her, and he makes her feel special. Astoria knows she needs to stop, but she can't. And she won't. Because she knows that Blaise loves her in a way that Draco never will.

The first time it happened took her completely by surprise. He pushed her up against the wall in the hallway of her house, where anyone attending the ball they were hosting could find them, where Draco could find them, and he ravished her mouth in a way she had never felt. At first, she fought him, she tried to push him away because she knew that it was wrong. She wanted to slap him around the face, to shout at him, she wanted to feel offended, but she didn't. She gave into the way he made her feel and she kissed him back as hard as he kissed her. That was the first time of many.

She thinks Draco knows. The way he looks at her sometimes, his cold grey eyes calculating, suspicion almost tangible as she tries to fill his uncomfortable silence with random chatter. She doesn't think he cares, or, as long as no one ever finds out at least. She knows he has his own affairs, because he never comes to her to fill his needs. Since Scorpius was born, any sexual relationship they may have had has long since dried up.

Blaise makes her feel like a woman, he appreciated her curves, he always makes sure to take care of her needs, and every time it feels better, more powerful, like fireworks exploding inside of her. She never wants it to end.

He knows she'll never be his wife, he knows she'll never be able to go on a date with him, or any of the other couple type things that people do, and he accepts that, and he takes whatever she can give, whenever she can give it.

It's her biggest fear that one day, he'll give up on her, he'll look for someone else who can devote all of their love and attention on him the way she knows he deserves to be treated. Until then, she'll continue to be selfish, she'll continue to sneak away to him whenever she can, and she'll continue to be unfaithful to her husband.

Because Blaise Zabini is Astoria's drug, and she's not ready to give him up.
