Gaara was sitting on the roof of the Inn he and his siblings were staying at. He was staring at the moon, wishing he could offer his mother blood from anyone in this godforsaken village. However, he knew he had to wait, he wasn't some kind of monster, he did have some control.

He was brought out of his musings b a noise from the ground below him. He started watching them wondering what they were doing.

They were beating the annoying blond boy from yesterday they had met when they had arrived in the village. The boy was letting them, he didn't try to fight back, he didn't try to run. He just took what they were doing with a smile on his face.

"Fucking Demon." The lead drunk spat and walked away with the others, leaving the blond boy on the ground. He still had a smile on his face, but there was a dark, a cold dark look in his blue eyes. It scared Gaara with the sheer familiarity of that look held.

The blond looked to were Gaara was and blew him a kiss. Before walking away from the vessel of the tanuki, who heard the last thing the bond said into the night. "It's all a matter of time humans, all a matter of time, and I have all the time in the world."

Gaara thought of the blond the rest of the night and most of the day, until he seen the blond and his team at the Exams; mask firmly in place.

He looked at the blond-Naruto, his human name, it did nothing for him. No Kyuubi suited him nicely. When their eyes met, Gaara with his gave Naruto a message 'When you're done playing their game and start playing yours (1); I will help.'

Naruto looked back to his fellow Konoha genin, nothing came through his mask, nothing but the mask was there, but Gaara knew the other understood because deep inside they were the same. Gaara gave a small smile, scaring the living hell out of his siblings, not caring about them he let out a chuckle.

It was only a matter of time.

And I Hope you liked that one, I will be posting a sequel (Only a Matter of Time) to this in another story/document. And the sequel to "Falling" Will be out as soon as I write it and type it out. It will be Jump or something like that. Anyway, leave me a review if you have time.
