Lost Love

He looked into the living room and sighed a bit as he watched the couple cuddle on the couch. He is very lucky to have her, while he has no one to support him in anyway possible. He knew he should of took the chance to actually ask him out when he had the huge chance, but he blew it and just gave up on him.

It's not like he doesn't love him, he doesn't extremely, but the chances are low now that he's with his fiancee and it hurts him to even think about it for one minute. He wonder what would of happened if he took the chance and asked him out.

Would he have rejected him? Would he have actually gave him a chance and went out with him or just completely left it alone and never answered his statement! Those thoughts ran through his mind 24/7 and it bothered him a lot. Like, the guy is paying everything for him, including 2 other guys and the girls he's dating now.

He still loves the guy, but he knows he has no chance with him now. He blew it. But that's not like he can't have anyone else. He knows himself that he's going to have to get over him and find someone else, even if it means breaking his own heart in the process to find someone else to love. It's the life of a guy who loves someone, but knows he's rejected the minute he calls out the words, 'I love you'.

Sighing to himself, he shuffles away from the room and up the stairs to his room, where he spends most of his days working. He has a job, a perfect one at that, but he needs to keep himself together for his fiancee and himself. He needs to keep this up, or else he'll find something suspicious about him and ask him about it.

He rubs his forehead as he opened his door and stalks right inside, closing the door behind him. He sat down at his desk and folded his arms together and rested his head against them. A few dresses, shirts and other clothe material was set next to his head and he stared at them. Fashion. His one passion and the only way to get his mind off him.

After awhile of just resting there, he lifted his head off the table and picked up a sharpened pencil from a old cup and looked down at the half finished wedding dress and tux. They had asked him to make their dresses and tux for the wedding that was only a few months away and he doesn't even have a good design for them yet.

Cracking his head both sides, he got to work, ignoring the things around him as he needed to focus on the work in front of him. They were expecting there clothes in by next next week and that wasn't enough time to actually get fabric and create the damn things. So he needed to work now.

After hours of drawing and erasing all the sketch ideas he had, he finally finished.. The dress at least. For some odd reason, it pained him to sketch out the tux that was to be worn by him, his best friend, but he knew he had to draw it or else he might as well throw it all away and get them to ask someone else to create the clothing's for them.

He gave another sigh. This was going to be a long night. He pushed aside the dress and grimaced as he looked down at the half down tux for his friend. He grumbled a bit and started working.

Long after the Tux and Dress were done, he decided to take a break. He looked over at the clock and huffed a bit. It's been only 2 hours and it was still on his mind. But he can't say much since he was working on their clothing for that 'special' day which won't be do special for him anyways. Unless he can find a date in 2 weeks, then it'd be perfect but he cant because hes gay.

Pulling himself out of the chair, he flopped down onto the twin sized bed and looked up at the ceiling in complete boredom. He can't finish the clothing's unless he has the fabric and he doesn't, meaning he's going out to the store tomorrow. He ran a hand down is face and groaned. It really was a long day and he can't take it anymore.

As he was about to get up and jump out the window, as he usually does when he doesn't want to face the couple that was just a few meters away from him, down in the living room, a knock eco'd through the walls of the silent room.

He stared at the door for a bit, temping not to answer it and just fly out the window. This wasn't the first time that happened, and it won't be the last. He will continue to do that until he has his own house, somewhere far from here- another knock interrupted his thoughts and he grumbled silently as he got up and opened the door.

On the other side of the door, was his best friend that he's known for years now. His breath was caught in his throat as he stared at him, but he forced a smile and voiced out: "Hey Mike. Watcha doin' here?" He asked as he stepped aside back into his room and onto the bed.

Mike smiled as he walked inside and just leaned up against the wall of the room, "Oh just coming to check up on you, you've been in here for awhile now and I got kinda worried when you didn't hear my call for dinner"

He gave a shrug and motioned over to where his work is, "Well, I was working on the designs for the clothing you guys asked for. I just need to get fabric tomorrow and I should be ready to start sewing them into pieces to make the perfect Dress and Tux." He said, with fake happiness. He's been quite down lately, but being around him made it 3x better then before.

"Ooh? You were? Am I able to have a look at them?" He asked, peeking above his head to look over at the desk. He shrugged and gave a smile, "yeah sure why not." rolling off the bed, he walked over to his desk and pulled off the 2 pieces of paper and handed them to Mike.

"Dude! These are perfect!" Mike exclaimed as he had a look over the pictures on the white piece of paper, "I'll supply some of the money so you can get those fabric's tomorrow, how about it?" he said as he pasted back over the drawings and he placed them onto the table.

Nodding, he gave Mike a smile and shifted himself so he was standing on his left leg. "Yeah sure. I'll come by your room tomorrow around noon and snatch up some of the money." Mike beamed at him and clapped his hand on his shoulder.

"Your a good man!" He said a bit happily and then moved out of the door, giving him a backwards wave as he left. He watched him as he left and sighed a bit. He scratched the back of his head and followed behind Mike after a few minutes, deciding to go and get some food, before returning to his room and sleeping for the long day tomorrow of shopping.

OoOoOoO

He rolled his shoulders as he woke up from his sleep. He blinked and looked up at the ceiling, mumbling a bit. He rubbed them and slipped out of bed. Padding over to is closet, he pulled out a simple purple shirt and black jeans. He sighed and ran a hand through his messy hair and turned to his bathroom.

As he got into his bathroom, he pulled off his shirt and stared at himself in the mirror. He frowned at the scars that scattered over his chest, and he sighed as looked away and pulled off the last of his clothing's before turning on the shower and stepping into the cold water, waiting for it to turn warm.

He stared at the opposite wall as the water ran down his back. He sighed and just rubbed his hands on his face minutes later. He paused and listened or moving feet around him and outside. He let out a heavy sigh when he heard nothing and opened his mouth as he started to sing softly to himself.

I remember tears streaming down your face

When I said, "I'll never let you go"

When all those shadows almost killed your light

I remember you said, "Don't leave me here alone"

But all that's dead and gone and passed tonight

He gave himself a smile and sighed. He ran the soap through his hand and into his hair as he continued to sing quietly so that no one was able to hear but himself.

Just close your eyes, the sun is going down

You'll be alright, no one can hurt you now

Come morning light, you and I'll be safe and sound

He stopped singing and just stood there in the shower. The only thing heard was the shower. He looked down at his hand and gritted his teeth together. He turned off the shower and stepped out of the shower, wrapping a towel around his waist and just stood in front of the words to safe and sound were still ringing in his mind as he stared into the mirror.

Don't you dare look out your window darling

Everything's on fire

The war outside our door keeps raging on

Hold onto this lullaby

Even when the music's gone, gone

Just close your eyes

The sun is going down

You'll be alright

No one can hurt you now

Come morning light

You and I'll be safe and sound

He grimaced slightly and wrapped his arms around himself and crouched down to the floor and stayed there for awhile. His arms were tucked against his chest, his hands in a fist against his chin as he stared at the cupboard. He gave himself a sigh and soon stood up again and un-curled his fingers.

Letting the towel fall from his figure, he picked up his boxers and slipped them on along with his pants and shirt. He fluffed up his hair a bit and brushed his teeth. He rested his hands against the edged the of sink and stared at his reflection for a few minutes before turning and walking out of the bathroom.

On his way out of his room, he grabbed his leather jacket and made his way out of the room. He pulled on his jacket and moved over to Mike's room. He knocked and waited. He took a step back as the door opened and there stood a bed headed Mike with the money in his hands. He let out a laugh ad shook his head, "Nice bed head Mike."

Mike rolled his eyes at his friend and smiled. "Shut up. I just woke up." Mike said and he rolled his eyes as he gave Mike a smile. "Yeah yeah. I'll be back in an hour or so. You and Doge don't wait up for me now!"

"You shut up! and good luck! The designs are amazing!"

"Said that last night Mike!"

Laughter was heard down the hall way as he walked away from Mike's room. He let a smile creep up on his face as he ran down the stairs and into the living room.

"Your up early"

Looking up, he saw a familiar face and his grin widen even more, "Scott! Nice to see your awake as well. The only reason I'm up early is because I need to go grab some supplies for the wedding" Scott gave him a sadden look, his green eyes looking at him and sighed a bit, putting down the cup of coffee that was in his hands.

"Are you okay-?"

"I'm fine" He said quickly and gave Scott a smile. He tilted his head a bit and picked up his wallet and keys he left on the table. "I'm going out! I'll see you and Fritz later"

Scott sighed again, but nodded and gave him a smile, "Be careful now!" He nodded and made his way over to the door, unlocking he made his way outside. He patted his pockets and sighed in relived when he felt a box and his phone against his hand. He turned around and closed the door, locking it as he hopped down to his car.

His car's headlights turned on and he got inside his car and sat in the drivers side before starting up his car. He stared at the house in front of him and smiled to himself as he backed up out of the driveway and onto the road. He stopped his car and plugged in his phone before continuing forwards to the store.

He tapped his hand against the wheel as he listened to his music. It helped him calm down, but not as much as he expected. It kinda reminded him of Mike, but he continued to tap his hand to the music as he drove on.

-time skip -

He parked in the parking lot and jumped out of the car after unplugging his phone. Sliding it into his pocket, he locked his car and made his way into the store. He slide his hands into his pocket and whistled to the tune 'up town funk' as he walked into the store.

He grabbed a cart and made his way around the store. He leaned against the cart so his arms where crossed against the bar as he walked and looked around. He hummed to himself as he stopped in a certain aisle. He looked up and down at the fabric that lined up the shelves.

He stopped at certain colors to look at them, but soon dismissed the color and turned to other ones. He sighed and rubbed his forehead. This was harder then he thought and he was a designer for gods sake.. He sighed again and pulled off a nice light sky blue color from the shelf and his frown turned into a smile. The perfect color for the wedding dress, now for the tux.

He went to turn around and the cloth into the cart when he bumped into someone. His eyes widen when he heard things fall to the floor and he quickly bent down to pick up all the items that fallen to the floor. "I'm so sorry! I didn't see you there.." He said.

"No its fine, I..I wasn't looking where I was walking.." He heard the male say. He lifted his head to give the items back to the male but paused in his stance when pale grey eyes came in contact with a light hazel eyes. He was about to drop the items again, but caught it and stood up straight, but his eyes never left his.

"Jeremy..?"

"Vince.."

Vince's eyes grew wide when he heard his name roll off Jeremy's lips and he bounced on his feet a bit, "Oh dear gosh! How long has it been?" He said quite excitedly. Its not everyday you get to see your long lost friend you lost contact with in grade 6. Jeremy's smile grew as he looked at Vince.

"Yes. Yes it has."
