It was a stormy night on the planet of mobious. A single hedgehog ran underneath the pelting rain, the cold chilling him to the bones. Yet he still ran, not daunted by it. It mattered nothing. He was off to die. He had always thought about the topic, but he never attempted it. He couldn't take the pain of loneliness anymore. The shadows of the night, mingled with the droplets of rain, hid his tears. He was nearing the ocean, where he planned to dive into its blue green depths. "shadow... I miss you..." he skid to a halt by the cliff face, the raging waters crashing into the shear rocks. His fear stopped him, momentarily, but his desire to die and join shadow in the place wherever the dead go. He took a deep breath, and gazed back down at the water abyss. "alright shadow... Here I come." he took a step forward, and felt himself descend, only for a sudden hand to grip at his arm. "let go." sonic growled, annoyed that someonw saved him. "why so depressed?" the voice made sonoc froze, tears forming in his eyes. "sh-shadow?" the black hedgehog smirked, and pulled the blue hedgehog into his arms. "stupid faker... " he smiled, kissing sonic on his forehead. "i'm the ultimate lifeform... I don't die."
