A/N: Hello~! Please let me know what you guys think of this ^7^ I appreciate reviews and critiques, as long as they are not rude of course~!

As of right now this is just an introduction to my OC, so Yona and the others do not appear yet ^^

Looking down at her now upset brother, the light headed blonde placed her hand on his shoulder, it was obvious to her, but yet her brother still managed to live in denial, that woman was gone, and she was never going to come back. Looking around at the cold winter sky the small female; whom was no older than seven at the time; headed down a dark alley before turning back to her older brother. "Big brother, I see smoke down that alley! Maybe it is a fire, let's go stay warm big brother!" The older light headed blonde only nodded, still keeping his eucalyptus eyes down casted, following his younger sister toward the alley that held the smoke.

Once they finally reached the end of the alley the two children eyed other villagers in the same predicament they were in; cold, lonely, and homeless. The boy quickly clutched his chest as he tried his best not to let a sob escape him. Turning his attention toward his young sister he spoke with a voice that did not belong to a young boy, especially not one as young as him. "Don't you worry Kaana, I promise you, I will find our mother, we won't ever live like this, and I swear to you, I will find her." Blinking, the young girl only smiled childishly toward her brother before speaking softly. "I know big brother, I trust you, and if anyone can find her it will be you."

Smiling the young boy grabbed his sister's hand and situated themselves next to the burning fire. This would be the first, but definitely not last time these two siblings saw this fire. As the two stared in boredom at the fire, the small girl looked around all the people, sighing she turned back to her brother before speaking. "I hope that someone will one day help all these people, that's my wish big brother, to be able to save these people who were rejected." Giving his younger sister a sour look the boy spoke cruelly and continued his stare at the fire. "Start with helping yourself first Kaana, that's the only way these people are going to be saved." Looking at her brother the girl only spoke softly with a simple. "Okay big brother."

After a long pause the boy stood. "Let's go Kaana, we can't waste any more time." Nodding the girl followed after her brother like a lost puppy would. Walking through the snow the two children left the small village and entered the white forest, both screaming heartily for the woman who abandoned them, one screamed with pure desperation, the other only yelling to follow the elder's example, either way the two were repaid with silence. Clutching his fists the boy finally yelled one last time to the soundless forest. "Mother!"

Sighing the girl only sat in the snow as she watched her brother desperately walk around in a circle, finally after a long pause the girl spoke up. "She isn't coming back brother." Hearing this the boy threw a ball of snow at his sister's head. Allowing the impact to hit her the girl stated again. "She isn't coming back."

Turning from his sister, the boy fell to the ground and clutched his upper arms as he looked almost insane. "She is, she just has to. She promised us after all." The girl looked away and back to the village. "Come on big brother, let's go back to the village, I'm sure she would be upset if she found out that we haven't been eating." Nodding the boy grabbed his sister's hand and began to walk back to the village. "You're right, let's go Kaana."
