(Honestly? If any of these characters belonged to me would it even be here?)

(Also, you may find them to be slightly OOC… It's not too bad though.)

(I hope you like my first fan fiction! :)

Princess Alianora said farewell to her friend Cimorene. It would be different, not having her around, but… Alianora looked at the man walking beside her and smiled, she had finally found her happy ending.

Thinking of the prince she frowned again.

He saw this and asked with some concern "What's wrong?"

"Nothing…" She blushed slightly at making him worry. Something had been bothering her for a while and she couldn't quite put her finger on it. "It's just that…"

"If it's about my curse, you don't have to worry. I'm sure Morwen will have it straightened out in no time."

"Oh, no, it's not that! I just…" She trailed off again. For some reason, her thoughts drifted to stories her nurse used to tell her when she was young. Something about them had always bothered her. She suddenly remembered asking her nurse a specific question many times. The woman would always respond in an exasperated tone "It doesn't matter, little princess!" That answer never had satisfied her, though.

"Are you two coming?" The purple dragon guiding them asked, flicking its tail impatiently. That brought her back to the present. They had stopped walking and the prince was watching her rather worriedly.

"That's it!" She exclaimed, making him jump "Your name!"

"What?" He asked unsure of where she was going with this.

She blushed again, "You've never actually told me your name." She half mumbled, embarrassed at herself.

He stared at her for a moment, "I haven't?"

She shook her head shyly.

He thought for a moment then said slowly, more to himself than her, "I haven't…"

He chuckled, "I shall have to fix that then, won't I!"

The dragon, standing a bit further down the tunnel, sighed quietly to itself. At this rate, they were never going to get out of the caves. To think! Introductions at a time like this. Humans are the strangest creatures it has ever met.
