Jace beleren was an unusual boy. He had the ability to read minds. One day his parents took him to a master telepath Aihammarret the high arbiter. The high arbiter was a sphinx and a great telepath. Jace and Aihammarret started training. Several weeks later Jace was sent on a mission to find an enemy's plans and give them to his teacher. Jace after about a month of training he gets to thinking about why his master was having him collect all of these things
Jace then realized that his master was using him to gain a wealth from the information he collected. Jace then asked his teacher what he has been doing with the information he has. His master said it is none of your concern what I do with my information boy. Jace leaves the tower he has been training in for three months. Jace is on top of one of the rings thinking about what to do jace settles on confronting his teacher about why he sold the information for money .Jace eventually goes back and confronts his teacher about the information. The teacher says money is power boy and with your help I have made a fortune.
Jace and Aihammarret have a duel of the mind. Jace wins by overpowering the sphinx and destroying its mind. Jace's planeswalker spark ignites and he planeswalks to ravnica. Jace meets Tezzeret a mage that controls a guild. Jace is invited to join the guild, but jace declined saying that he was never going to work with a group again. Tezzeret said that jace didn't have a choice about joining the guild. Jace says that he might want to leave before something bad happened to him. Jace eventually fought tezzeret and erased his mind of ever meeting him. Jace planeswalked away from ravnica and went to akros. In akros jace met Kytheon and the irregulars as they going back to their base. Kytheon stated that this group was trying to put a stop to the crime in akros and to defend it when needed. After several days of waiting kytheon and his group were called in to kill a cyclops threatening to tear akros down. Kytheon with his group killed the beast and were told about who sent it. Erebos sent the monster to kill us all. Jace left for a day to check in on ravnica. When jace got back to akros he saw kytheons group being killed. Kytheon was encased in a glow of bright light and then was gone.
Jace went to go to ravnica but went to innistrad instead. Jace landed in a palace, then he realized where he was. The place rected of vampire. Jace was getting ready to planeswalk out of there he heard a voice. Jace turned and looked around until he saw a man standing in the corner. The man wore black and red clothing, he had a sword, white hair, and fangs. Jace realized this man was the fearsome vampire lord Sorin markov. Jace said "sorry for entering without permission into the palace". Sorin told jace that he called him their for his assistance with some rouge creatures on his plane. Jace agreed to help sorin with this problem he has. Sorin said that in return for helping him with this problem. Jace met up with a group of vampires trying to hunt the beasts down and kill them.
After several days of hunting the group found the rouge monsters. They killed them without mercy and regret. Jace returned to sorin's palace, after they spoke sorin asked jace what he wanted his reward to be. Jace said that he would like to know where the dragon scroll of the eldrazi was. Sorin told jace that the scroll was on the same plane as the eldrazi were imprisoned. The plane where the eldrazi were imprisoned was zendikar
