It was a pleasant sight
Sadly not mutual
Clearly he had given them a fright
They bantered softly
The girl watched on
He ran and gripped him
A threat to her scared him off
Compliments were paid
While glares wouldn't cease
A gift in words
A smile and a tease
He said he could be a hero
He refused straight up
Barry scoffed and looked away
He glanced back at his warm cup
Discouraged he turned to leave
He hadn't expected much
Barry stopped him
With words, not a single touch
His throat welled up
But he forced it down
He was Captain Cold
Not an ordinary clown
He walked out
Barry's eyes still on him
The door closed shut
He shivered, a breeze dancing on his skin
He heard what they were trying to do
But the Flash would stop them
Maybe this time he'd use kung fu
He pondered a smirk on his lips
Still worry plagued him
Until he saw those gifts fly in the air
He thought, Barry must've done it
He always did things with a flair
He was Captain Cold
And he was the Flash
Their relationship was strange
But they were absolutely fine with that
They weren't quite friends
And no longer were they foes
So to have no name
Was how they would go
Perhaps one day,
Things would change
But for now,
Both were happy to stay the same
My take on Snart during the midseason finale. The way he acted with Barry and everyone just made me smile. Apparently Captain Cold will be a part of Legends of Tomorrow so excited for that. Hoping this won't stop Snart from appearing on screen in the Flash. And Wally showing up the same episode Joe finds out about him. I'm not sure what to make of that. If there is slight ColdFlash in this, it wasn't intentional, it just wrote itself in.
