Feel the Heat

Disclaimer: Don't own 'em

This is a poem from Max's POV in heat.

Damn

Shit

It's here again

The desire in my eyes

The horny-ness in my thighs

I'm on the prowl

And every man is meat

But it all about sex

When, baby, I'm in heat

I hear you pulse quicken

When I walk in the room

But don't worry 'bout it, shorty

Cause I'm horny too

I want you!

And every man in the room

What I want I get

And I'll do something I'll regret

Start lookin' for me

I'll be gone

Cause while you drink that 40-ounce

I told my people, "Gotta bounce"

I went intending to go home

The streets are a danger to roam

In this condition

I end up at the place

Of a man with mission

"What the hell," I think

"Am I doin' here"

I know at all cost don't go upstairs

My legs move

With a mind of their own

All the while I'm thinkin'

"Ain't I supposed to be home?"

Locked in a closet

Protected from testosterone

He's not here

Thank God

But there's his smell

First twelve hours are hell

I thought I was bad at the Crash

Feelin' like whore

Now I'm more ready than before

Take a cold shower

Maybe something to eat

Calm down a bit

Thought I know I'll still feel the heat

Go to my room just to get some sleep

Mine? In this bitch?

When did I start feelin' ownership?

Doesn't matter

Not know

When I'm so ready to tho' down

So I sleep and when I woke from my dreams

I saw a pair of blue eyes staring at me

More beautiful than any fantasy

I say, "Hey" he says, "Hey" to me

He wants to ask questions

But knows I won't tell

So he ask about breakfast

A safe place to dwell

I won't turn it down

He knows me that well

And as I sit down

Watching him watch me

Eating with him as he eats

I'm so glad I'm not in heat

Cause now

His pancakes are pleasing me
