It happened so suddenly I didn't even remember stabbing my big sister with my blade, all I felt was horrid pain and her blood entering my body. I pulled my sword out of Saya and let it fall to the cold cement floor.
I looked at my wound and my breathing became shallow. Blood was gushing out of me. My hands held onto my stomach, trying to stop anymore blood from escaping from my body as I trembled with fear. Then-
Crack, crack, crack…
All I could do was stare at me hands as they started to crystallize, my own hands turning stone grey. I… lost? How could I have lost? I looked up at Saya and gasped.
She looked at me and raised her hands. Nothing? Saya was fine, she was going to live. She looked up at me with fear in her eyes. "Diva," she muttered.
My whole body was now beginning to crystallize. "Why is it… why is it only… happening to me?" I stuttered then I called for my sister for the first time, "Saya?"
"Diva!" my big sister ran toward me as I looked up at my left arm. It was completely crystallized. It looked as if my arm turned into stone. Then it suddenly broke off my shoulder. I gasped but someone's hand shot out and grabbed it.
Saya was trying so hard to reconnect my arm back to my body. "I'll help you!" she said frantically.
I looked up at her; I heard the sobs in her voice as she kept trying to help me. "Big sister," I said to her sadly as my legs betrayed me and pulled me to the ground.
"I'll help you!" This time, she was shouting, tears brimming in her crimson eyes with a look of concern.
I just stared up at her. Says, my big sister, the one who has been trying to kill me for over a century, wanted me to live? I felt so warm, I even felt her love radiating off of her.
The sound of footsteps interrupted my thoughts. I looked up and instantly all my pain seemed to vanish.
Nathan was walking towards me with my two baby daughters. He gently laid them by my side. It was then I realized I would never see them again; they would grow up without a mother.
Saya… I know she would take care of them for me; she wouldn't let them live the life she and I had to live.
My weak smile somehow grew brighter as I said my goodbyes to my daughters. "Goodbye…my…little ones…" I said weakly then with my last ounce of strength, I placed my hand on their delicate cocoons and lightly stroked them.
I wanted to tell Saya so many things; I wanted to tell her how sorry I was that I had caused her so much pain and suffering.
All of the sudden, everything turned black…
