It's been awhile and I know I have other stories that I should be working on I needed to get this out. Reviews welcomed and equally appreciated no matter how horrible as the bad ones are often hilarious.
Standard Disclaimer I neither own the rights to KP or Princess Bride though since Morgenstern doesn't exist I might be able to take credit for the latter but that would take too much work. Anyways on with the story.
KP/Princess Bride- Anything is possible.
A teenage girl lay sick in her bed, having caught pneumonia after plunging into freezing cold water propelled by an exploding doomsday device. It had been another routine mission for Team Possible but in the end Kim and Ron nearly froze to death waiting for a GJ reconnisance plane. Now kim was confined to her bed and Ron to his, both had talked on the phone extensively seeing as they had only officially become a couple a few months earlier and now because of their illnesses and their parents insistence that each teenager stay in their own house Kim and Ron had been separated for the first time in months. Kim raised a hopefully head when she heard the knock that morning even though the voice in her head told her that she had just talked with Ron last night and he was in no way healthy enough to come all the way to her house, even assisted. She was surprised however when the door opened and Nana Possible entered carrying a hot cup of tea and something else under the crook of her shoulder.
"Nana, I didn't expect to see you."
"Well Kimmie dear I heard all about the horrible incident from your parents and thought that I hadn't seen you all lately so I hitched a ride with some Bikers and here I am.
"Bikers?"
"Oh, don't worry dear they were right gentlemen. Now I brought you some of my patented possible tea with just a hint of lemon as well as a lemon square and this." Nana said handing Kim first the cup with a lemon square in its saucer and then the package she had held under the crook of her arm.
It felt heavy in Kim's hands but most things had in the last few days as her energy and strength seemed to have eluded her but this was particularly heavy. It was covered in brown wrapping and held by twine which came lose with a quick and easy tug that caused the rest of the wrapping to fall away revealing…
"A book." Kim said not sure how to react.
The binding was leather and by the looks of it rather old, on the cover there seemed to be many small scenes in their own little bubbles including one of a man dressed in black from head to toe and another of a women with fiery red hair astride a horse. In the middle of all these scenes was the title…
"Not just any book Kimberly, The Princess Bride. I thought I would read it to you. When your father was sick with Mono I read it to him and when I had the chicken box my mother read it to me."
"Wait, when did dad get Mono."
"About your age actually from a certain redheaded girl." Nana said with a wink causing Kim to giggle weakly.
"Well what's the story about Nana, it isn't a kids books is it."
"Not at all Kimberly it has everything fencing, fighting, true love, giants, monsters." Nana said taking the book and opening it up.
"Ok, sounds good." Kim said resting back on her pillow.
"All right One, The Bride."
A/N- Don't mean to leave you hanging here but I need to find a way to synthesis the book and movie as well as the characters from the TV show. I have a vague idea in my head but I really want to include back stories for most of the characters like in the book and if you haven read the Princess Bride by William Goldman your depriving yourself.
